Home Cafe — Restaurant in Brockton

Had one of the WORST experiences EVER in the MANY times coming here. Was introducing another friend to the place after a chilly day outside. Drove from Lakeville to arrive at 7:30pm on a Sunday to be greeted with the most grumpy, offensive, bartender JoJo with WHAT DO YOU WANT?! No hi, no hello, we said give us a minute. I went out to my car and unbeknownst to me she said to my friend, well I guess your friend left you?!?...I came back in went right to the restroom which had no toilet paper, came out and mentioned it to Jojo to which again she exclaimed WHICH ONE?! at that point I had had enough!!!! I'm a bartender myself and would NEVER treat a customer in the way she had. The last time I brought someone in for lunch was a similar experience and we let it go but REALLY....why WOULDN'T you want new people, or is the courtesy just for your locals? Very sad n...

The place has really good food and a great staff and very welcoming environment, it seems like a small little dive bar at first but when you go inside you actually realize it's a nice little cafe in the people aren't rude and grouchy like you would expect from Brockton there actually a bunch of decent hard-working people in there so I do recommend this place for family before 8 p.m. maybe 9 but after that I wouldn't recommend bringing children but it's also agreed establishment for adults to go to to have an adult beverage if that's they choose to do it's a cone place with no drama and a great selection on the jukebox and the regulars always play good music and I recommend this place to anyonelooking for some good food quiet area and not a bunch of people trying to sell...

Regrettably, my recent visit to Home Cafe, left much to be desired. The pizza, supposedly the highlight of the establishment, fell short of expectations. The crust was disappointingly soggy, lacking the promised crispness, and the toppings seemed to lack freshness. The overall flavor profile was unimpressive, leaving me questioning the hype surrounding this pizza joint. The service was subpar, with a notable lack of attentiveness from the staff, and the ambiance was uninviting, contributing to an overall underwhelming dining experience. Unfortunately, Home Cafe failed to deliver the enjoyable pizza outing I had hoped for, and I won't be rushing back...
