I have lived here for two years but will be moving within the next few weeks. The first year and a half, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean, quiet, and tenants were very respectful of others. There are a lot of elderly individuals who live here who are very nice and polite. The maintenance men are also very polite and quick to take care of any issues that may arise.
The last few months have not been that great though. There is constant trash being thrown "right beside the dumpster" because people are too lazy to go a step beyond and put it "in the dumpster", people parking in unauthorized spots, loud music, constant smell of marijuana, etc. This started months ago when two men moved in behind me and blared music constantly and were up and down the stairs at all hours of the night. I reported it and told them where it was coming from, but a blanket email was sent out to everyone. I have reported the smell of marijuana and seeing people smoking it and just being told, "I'm so sorry". I'm paying almost $1300 a month for my apartment to smell like pot all the time and wondering if I smell like that at my place of work. Within the last two months a group of construction workers have moved in (which I know there are more than 6 in a two bedroom apartment), 3 vans full of men. The weekends consist of them blaring music, drinking, and just being annoyingly loud. Two days ago there was a random bike sitting at the bottom of the staircase and I come up to find what looked like a homeless man sitting against the balcony with his bags. I called the office to report it and I was told they didn't feel comfortable addressing it and for me to call the police. Their job is to make sure the tenants are safe and feel safe, they should have called the police and investigated it. As a single mother with children, my job is to make sure my children are safe and comfortable and we do not feel that way at the...
Read moreLived here for a year and a half moved out earlier this summer personally think the prices are way to high for what your paying for but the economy also sucks right now but I have a few comments on the staff they are very friendly I will give them but when we were in the application process I firmly believe me and my fiancĂŠ wouldnât have gotten to complete the application process if we werenât constantly calling the office to see whatâs next in the application process we would go a week without hearing anything and then call and half of the time nobody answers that was before we moved in recently my fiancĂŠ had received a letter from court that had been sent to the apartment address for whatever reason so I went in 10 minutes after the office opened told them my old apartment number gave them my Id so I could get my mail the key did not work and the lady said she was new to this location and doesnât have another key and we would have to wait for the mailman to get there long story short she never called when he got there went back the next day same situation so at this point Iâm wondering how do they not have a key when we turned ours in when we moved out and they have a backup but it doesnât work and it ILLEGAL to withhold mail from someone so we were on our way back home and luckily saw the mail car on route to the apartments and I donât think we wouldâve ever gotten our mail because without calling and telling her we have the situation figured out she failed to call us that day as well so three days that she had failed to call us I think...
Read moreThe complex itself is nice and the staff does a good job. Unfortunately I have not had the greatest time living here. The apartments are very crowded and you can constantly hear people stomping up and down the stairs or the walkways at all hours of the night. People constantly speeding through the parking lot. Kids playing in the parking lot with zero supervision hitting cars with balls etc... Everyone smokes outside so coming and going my kids and I were subjected to walking through clouds of smoke. They also allow people to smoke in the pool area, where tons of kids are, which is not family friendly at all. We live on the second floor and can hear every single step our upstairs neighbors take. We complained to the office which didn't really get us anywhere as they said they receive tons of complaints about noise because the sub floor between 3rd and 2nd floor is too thin so if you do decide to live here do yourself a favor and opt for the 3rd floor. It has been so bad at times our entire apartment will shake, which I am sure its about half the sub floor issue and half our upstairs neighbors just being loud. If your neighbor has a dog and it barks, you WILL hear it!! I chose these apartments thinking that for the money it would be a better experience than other apartment complexes but in all reality it has been awful. For the money you would be much better off finding a duplex or...
