On 1/12 2024 I came to this location 4704 S Elm to pick up my medication through the drive through to my dismay . I used the tube to have my meds to come back out to me before they were sent out I sent over my credit card to pay for the meds . The worker in the window begin to help the other lady in the other window before completing my transaction. How she was holding a full blown conversation with other lady bag up her meds and sent them out to her . I watch the lady drive off then she sent my meds out . I hit the call button and asked her can she send my credit card back out to me . She reply I did I placed it in the envelope which was not there . I then process you gave my credit card to someone else the lady that was at the window because she didnāt and wasnāt paying attention. This caused me to have a delay in my appointment that I had scheduled for a family baby shower which I missed because they had to figure out who had my credit card . I called to have that cancel now which puts me in a dilemma of being able to use my card for a medical procedure that I have also scheduled for next week š¤¦š½āāļø.This is truly not good business and and I canāt believe this to have my life flip upside down and the anxiety and stress this has caused me not to mention any blood pressure elevation. I to now that I can no longer do business here . They were able to track the person down and to the funny part of this story she was pissed that they gave it to her . She scanned her calls and then called back to see why the pharmacy is calling wow. But knew she had someone else credit card. I then had to wait another hour waiting on her to bring it back to store and yet the manager apologized and the young lady that gave my card away . How do one bounce back when we know how the world is . Not only that the insult of this I was offer 10,000 points and drink and snack verse the valise of my card was 3,000 credit limit and having to wait now on another one to come in the mail and medical surgery appointment cancel . Walsgreen could have done better as a long time customer for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am SO fed up and disgusted with the Walgreens at 4704 S. Elm in Broken Arrow, OK (store #03534). We have been with them since 2005 when we moved to Broken Arrow. At that time, the pharmacy was fantastic, service was great and the staff was pretty special. Not any more.
This week (and its only Tuesday!) I received texts saying my prescriptions were being worked on and would be ready for pickup soon or were actually ready. There were three. Today, while I was out running errands, I called to make sure that my prescriptions would be ready so that I could pick them up before going home. The pharmacist that I talked to said, "no problem. Give me 40 minutes." When I got to the store one hour later, not only were my prescriptions not ready but they closed the window in my face for a lunch break! Extremely rude!! And now I have to get back out to pick them up. I just had surgery yesterday and two of those prescriptions were pain medicines. One of those prescriptions was hydrocodone/acetaminophen and had been ordered from the surgery center yesterday. The text said "currently out of stock". That is a common medicine and the store should be keeping ample supply of that. In years past, the pharmacist would call and help me find a store that did have it. Not this time.
My family and I average picking up two to three prescriptions per week. This month not one single prescription was ready when the texts on your app promised nor were they ready in a reasonable time. When we called to talk to the manager they said that they were running understaffed this week due to flu. That may be the case but this problem has been happening consistently for several months! We really hate to have to change pharmacies because of our 18 year history but we need a reliable store!
In talking to some of our neighbors, who also use this store, they are experiencing the same. Not sure what, but something needs to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs someone who is chronically ill & has gone to tons of pharmacies and 20+ different Walgreens pharmacy locations over the years, this location seems to consistently have the nicest and most efficient pharmacist and employees. There are always going to be some kind of hiccups when dealing with humans (we all make mistakes, pharmacy employees are not excluded), and with so many prescriptions, doctors, insurance, and other sick people (every day on their end), so the customer service is what matters most to me. They speak kindly on the phone & in the store, donāt sound/act like they hate their lives working there (as most other pharmacy employees do), and they have always handled everything quickly too, very on top of things, unlike the busier 24 hour stores. They seem to really do their best & care for their customers, even when so much stuff is out of their control. I really appreciate having them nearby, and that they make the experience a little bit more...
