Went into Creative Escapes main office to get clarification on the provided directions to Bella Notte which were not very good...who wants to keep resetting their odometer to calculate fractions of miles? There was only one individual in the office and she was on the phone discussing charge dispute. Instead of politely asking the caller to hold, she gave me the hold on finger and proceeded with the call while I stood there for at least 10 minutes. I finally left to figure it out on my own. Upon arrival at the cabin, living room tv was on. The main bathroom had tub knob falling off and the tub was getting clogged during shower with sediment coming up from the drain. The toilet was not clean. The handle from the microwave was missing. The couch pilliows were stained. There was coffee but no sugar. There were very few pans and pots for cooking. Hardly any towels. Bed linens were sparse. Spiderwebs by the hot tub that were clearly weeks in the making. The hot tub buttons didn't work. Four beds upstairs but only one accessible plug outlet. Upstairs TV was not programmed to the correct input for watching. Both remotes tried, dvd player tried, all static at every attempt. No guest book or flyer posted with important contact info. I do not recommend Creative Escapes. Choose...
Read moreThe cabin was just that. Small, clean, and had all the inside amenities said to come with it. That ended at the door. Our cabin was one of twenty. In their brochure they showed a cabin and labeled it number 6. That was the cabin we requested. Turns out the one in the picture is not number 6. They showed it with a pond, and volleyball court, stating they had two stocked ponds. Yes number 9 has that but not the rest of the first 10 cabins. Our cabin was the last in a row of 6 with no back porch and all of them not more than 150 feet from highway 259. We could see the highway and watch and hear the traffic. We also had a side street next to us. Yes, we did have a couple of trees behind us but almost none next to us. You were not in the (woods). In their web page it stated several times, spend two nights and get the third one free. False. Nowhere was it stated that you had to book your reservation online with them. We booked thru VRBO and that disqualified us from the third night. We did see a small pile of wood as we drove to the cabin, which they stated was free. It rained both nights, so the wood was soaked. Except for the ambience of a single room log cabin, would not do it again with creative escapes. Next place we stay, I will ask to see the cabin and...
Read moreCabins that they manage are nice but we shouldn't be expected to pay that high dollar renting fee plus a cleaning fee if yall are not even willing to clean. Its getting more and more ridiculous and when they don't have the decency to respond back to us while still on vacation is the reason why I'm leaving the review. Disappointed to...
