Brook Park City Hall — Local services in Brook Park

I had to come here to deal with a speeding ticket. First, they don't tell you that City Hall is no longer on Engle Road, as listed on your ticket. I arrived on-time to my scheduled court date, only to find a sign stating that they had moved to the "old day care facility at the rec center". I don't have kids and I don't live in Brook Park, so this information was next to useless in finding where I actually needed to be. This seems like an egregious case of entrapment. But I asked for help from locals and managed to make it to my court date, albeit ten minutes late.

While I treat everyone I encounter with respect, the magistrate spoke to me for no more than 30 seconds and spoke over everything I tried to say. He asked a question and didn't even give me a chance to answer.

I know court isn't supposed to be fun, but frankly, this is a mockery and it certainly isn't justice. On the plus side, their ticket fines seemed low.

Are you kidding me? This is City Hall?? WOW! I can't believe how EXTREMELY TERRIBLE their operator is. I wish I had her name. She was BEYOND rude and had nothing but attitude right from the very start of the conversation. She kept accusing me of saying something that I did not say... so clearly she has a listening problem, since she can't seem to get it together and actually listen to the people calling in then she probably shouldn't have this job. And this is coming from a City Hall worker? I just can't believe that she is aloud to speak to people that way especially considering that I was not rude to her and did not give her attitude, until she kept falsely accusing me. I'm pretty sure this place would be better off without her. Please do yourself a favor and re-train her if she is going to continue to be employed here. AND UNFORTUNETLY I HAVE TO AT LEAST GIVE THIS PLACE A 1 STAR...

So many of us were very disappointed in this year's Home Day Parade. There was nothing to really enjoy. It was mostly a Parade for businesses to advertise. We spent an hour listening to loud horns and people just walking down the street. What happened to the good old day Parade that really entertained us and made our time worth while?
