Alsum Sweet Corn Produce Stand — Local services in Brookfield

During the warm season in Elm Grove, WI, Alsum’s provides a growing variety of produce and canned goods. Every year, I look forward to purchasing sweet corn here, as it is my favorite food!

I frequent their down home farm stand a lot because of the locally grown fresh vegetables!

It’s just wonderful to get to know and support families who bring hand-picked nourishment to the suburbs of Milwaukee.

The prices are just as sweet at the community connections and I strongly recommend their cantaloupe and orange tomatoes!

The only place I’ve ever been to where $2.50 (3 ears of corn) + $1.00 ((1 ear of corn) = $4.00. Their menu/sign is posted saying 3 ears = $2.50 and 1 ear = $1.00. Yet they charged me 4 bucks for 4 ears. And the woman behind the stand was adamant and argumentative about it all. I said I won’t be coming back and she didn’t care, saying “we have lots of customers.” Boy is that the wrong answer. All for a measly 50 cents?...

This stand is absolutely amazing. They have everything you could imagine in the fruit and veggie department. Everything smells so good and is so fresh they have tons to choose from as well as canned stuff as well. The ladies working are extremely nice. They also have a fall fest coming up.
