First tume trying this place out yesterday. I had the two piece catfish & two sides (mac& cheese & candied yams) & cornbread. Prices are kind of high,my meal was $26 & menu is very limited, not much to chose from. I tried called several times before going to place an order but no answer at all.So I get to the place the lot so small parking is very tight and everybody flying in & out like crazy I almost got hit.
I go inside the restaurant, very clean but small.I was placing my order and the owner rubbed me the wrong way but Im like whatever and overlooked it. So she took my number to call me when my order was ready within 20 mins, this was at 12:49pm. So I go sit in my car it got to be 1:39pm I go back in to see was my food ready cause it was over 20mins ,I told the owner it has been almost an hour, she like whats you phone number. She had typed my number in wrong,so she like well it aint been a hour you been waiting & slammed my food on the counter& never once apologized about anything. She very rude,I was lost for words & will never go back!!!

Read moreThe male cashier greeted us as soon as we entered. After scanning the menu, we decided to try the turkey leg dinner. It was a bit pricey at $27.19 after tax.
The dinner consisted of two sides; We chose yams and macaroni & cheese. He asked If we wanted bbq sauce on the side, but didn't state it cost extra. If anyone else is asked, it's an additional seventy-five cents, just so you know.
You'll have to provide your phone number and they'll call you when your order is ready. A lady called and advised us to bring in the ticket, when it was done. Her tone wasn't really friendly, but that was my only interaction with her.
As for the taste, the yams were really good. Not too sweet and cooked just right. By the time we arrived at our destination the macaroni & cheese was a cheesy block. I can't fairly say if I liked it or not, as I didn't try It hot and didn't have a microwave available to reheat it.
The turkey leg was so tender, it was literally falling off of the bone. It didn't really need bbq sauce, but since it was there we used it. Honestly, it would've tasted better with rice and gravy, that was also on the menu, as a side.
Overall, if you're craving some warm comfort food, it's...
Read moreThis was my first experience here, Sunday, March 27th. I will say staff was friendly & helpful. I ordered the 2 piece catfish w/ yams, mac, dressing, & green beans. The fish was cooked to perfection and extremely tasty! The dressing was a bit too moist which made it overly mushy but still good. The green beans did have smoked turkey which I didn’t eat but it could’ve used a nice pinch of salt. My friend who ate the smoked turkey out of my green beans complained it was EXTREMELY DRY. Lastly, my least 2 favorites were the Mac & yams. I mean no disrespect but the Mac & cheese was so bland I couldn’t eat it. I’m not sure if someone different made that batch of Mac but it was absolutely terrible. As far as the yam, they weren’t terrible but I couldn’t eat them either. They were a bit bitter with an odd taste. I’m not trying to bash this restaurant but there are just a few things that could be improved for a...
