I have been a Bible following Christian for over 15 years and I am what u call a sola scriptura Christian cos I donât follow man, I follow the word of God 100%. In all my years, I have never experienced such false doctrine in my entire life. This pastor says his been preaching prosperity for 25 years like seriously I thought pastors are called to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ which is Godâs power unto salvation Romans 1:16. This church is money driven and money hungry. This goes against the message of Jesus which is one of repentance and the forgiveness of sins. The pastor looks down on smaller churches. I think this pastor might need to study the history of the early church to see that there were small churches littered all around the Roman Empire. They say itâs not Godâs plan for people to be poor, pls tell that to poor Christians in under developed nations who despite having nothing but are still filled with joy because they have Jesus. The pastor says we have to have more than enough, please JESUS is enough. The church also endorses one of the biggest destructive false teachers in Christendom in Kenneth Copland. This pastor does twist the words of the apostle Paul for his own personal gain. Paul said In Galatians that if anyone preaches another gospel the man is accursed. I encourage people not to go to this accursed church. Behind the bright lights, and everything itâs a false church that goes against the message of grace, repentance and salvation. Jesus said deny yourself and carry your cross and die to oneself. I donât see nothing about dying to one self daily but greed in this church. I challenge any of the church leaders to speak to me about all my allegations with the word of God. I am sorry for the long review but it breaks my heart to see the name of Jesus Christ and his word used for personal gain. I pray for God to convict the pastors and members of this church to repent and turn to the gospel of Jesus Christ for repentance leading...
Read moreI have been attending recently and Mac Hammondâs son has been preaching. My husband and I really enjoyed the sermons. However, I attended church recently with Mac Hammond in the pulpit and left feeling uncomfortable and extremely disappointed. The message was laced with political rhetoricâcomments about democrats & how the Democratic Party is being taken over by the devil, downplaying police misconduct (âI have only encountered one police officer in my lifetime who used inappropriate methodsâ) and making problematic remarks about immigration (although he tried to walk back his comments by referring to the Latino service next door). He stated that people who didnât believe the country was founded as a Christian Nation are dumb, defunding the police is stupid, and commented right before offering how great the recent ruling is about church tax exemptions. He spoke about China & Chinese people⌠I could go on. I couldnât believe what I was hearing and wondered where in the Bible would I find those teachings?!?
Joyce Meyer once said, âWhen you are truly anointed by the Holy Spirit, youâll be about peace and unityânot hatred or divisive rhetoric.â Thatâs the gospel I believe in. Thatâs the Jesus I follow. What I witnessed on Sunday didnât reflect the love, humility, or unity the Holy Spirit brings. Instead, it felt like the pulpit was used as a political platform to cast judgment.
The church should be a place where all peopleâof every background, political belief, and lived experienceâcan feel loved and hear Godâs Word. What I heard in church totally...
Read moreMy assumptions were True. While spending the last 3 years watching online videos on many topics, I've been able to see what has happened for well over 100 years in America. The Word of Faith movement is a well oiled machine ( business). Nice buildings, great coffee, kind people, soothing music, Bible references, giving opportunities, lots of grace, a call to say a simple prayer and you'll be in with God...... The Gospel is foolishness to those who are perishing but to those who are being saved it is the power of God. Men can be saved in this ministry, however to be led into Word of Faith heresy's will not cause you to love Truth, it'll keep you coming, doing , giving, without sharing the Gospel with someone else. It's a huge tax write off for the top in this organization. Google up the ministries that have been careful yet consistently sharing the concerns about the Wolves like, Kenneth Copeland, Todd White, Joyce Meyer, and the whole crew that brag each other up and all look to the Azusa street revival as the wonderful move of God... Dangerous yet delightful to the eyes not good for the soul. Go and see if I'm right or wrong. Everything is too perfect. Avoid this place if you don't understand the difference between Bible believing Christianity and heresy. This place is a den of wolves...
