Small town grocery store with pleasant staff and responsive management. If you’re looking for exotic ingredients, you won’t find them here to be sure, but they have a decent selection of everyday staples and everything for basic meals. Their meat department is a cut above, with an experienced butcher on hand most of the day. Edwards grinds their own hamburger and cuts their own meats. Far better meat than Walmart and most Krogers. Weak spot is unfortunately produce. Not very fresh, and I mean I have more than once seen moldy produce out on the shelves. Seems better recently, but I’m wary every time I go. Bonus points for Boars Head deli meat on site. Also a small bakery with limited but solid choices. Beer and wine available. Good handicap parking. I'm guessing Edwards is under new management! My husband was bagging our groceries and the manager came up and said she got it. And asked the employees to get another employee who was taking his 15 minute break. As he was coming back he was letting her know he was on the phone with his mother. And she said she didn't care, and that the mother should understand that his is at work and she can call him back another time not at work. And that he will get fired! She said all this in front of all us customers which is really rude and made that poor boy feel uncomfortable! Even the poor girl who was ringing my grocery's up looked like she was scared to talk to us because the manager was standing there. She should have put him aside and talked to him away from the customers. Definitely poor...

Im on fix income! I shop at the arch street store 2 times a month. I counted on my rewards points. It allowed me to purchase a lot more food than i otherwise wouldn't of been able to. I was so embarrassed when I checked out all of a sudden i didn't have enough money to pay for my groceries. I asked if she applied my points to my bill? That's d trying to decide what i had to put back.i have a very tight budget, i cook from scratch so my food will str,,,etch.
