Ya know, I expect my budtenders to partake in the products they peddle, and I applaud the laid back atmosphere that naturally occurs in this industry - however, there's a line. When your employees can't even function to do the job, it's time to set some boundaries.
There was no one at the front desk when we walked in, but the doors to the sales floor were all wide open (probably not very smart in this particular scenario, and probably breaks some laws/local guidelines). After about 5 minutes of us just standing there, I peak back around the open doors to the sales room and that's when they all looked up at me and my bf in tandem, then around at each other, then they notice the open doors, looked at us like we did something wrong, looked back at each other.,... and then FINALLY a braincell woke up so ONE of them could access it long enough to walk to the front desk and say, "oh, there's no one here. There should be someone here soon" shut the doors and then proceeded to walk back to the counter he previously occupied, returning his glazed over gaze back to the wall opposite him.... Doesn't go get anyone. Doesn't text anyone. Just resumes staring.
Another 5 or so minutes later the counter attendant walks in, apologizes, bends over the computer and just blanks for a second before snapping back to reality and asks for my ID. I just look at my bf, dumbfounded. Whatever. At this point, I just want my carts so I can go home and watch Yellowstone (and tell my bf why it's such a terrible show). . . But when I get back to my BT's counter, she's cooked. I can't understand a WORD she says. I am trying with my whole heart and soul to understand this beautiful little space cadet behind the counter, but the connection is failing fast and I'm losing patience. System Overheating!!! Overreaction imminent!! Engage BF Mode! My bf starts pointing to the exact carts I want (he doesn't even partake in broccoli but he's calling out strains like he's been growing for a decade and it's kinda hot, ngl....). She's knocking half the products off the shelves, picking up the wrong ones, clearly we've caught her while there's no one home.
But in this moment I am just so grateful to have a bf that senses the Karen rising in me, and knows EXACTLY when to take control.

Read moreI was searching for a dispensary who would deliver using cash on delivery. I was able to achieve my order but while trying to check out, it wouldn't save my address correctly. I struggled to call the store to ask for help, but no one could fix it. The team lead ( a female, originally speaking to a man) instructed me to place my order again; she canceled my original order, since she couldn't fix it either. I complied with her instructions, struggled a few more times, but ultimately was able to enter it again successfully. I had to wait for the next day unfortunately, but I'm still receiving my order excitedly lol. I can not walk far, do delivery was crucial. Also had no credit that would link up to pay with cards. the employee was good, doing all he could to help. The team lead was understanding and efficient in fixing my problem. Other dispensaries refused my sale because it was ONE minute past their delivery window, which was unfair in my position, I won't be back to that one.. Read moreSo much false advertising. I was sent an email telling me that since I'm a new customer I would get a free eighth. But when I got there they told me that I will have to spend at least $25 first before I can get my pre-roll or 8th and I won't get it today I'll get it the next time I come in. That's not what the email stated it said free 8th on us for being a new customer. Their prices are high anyway and I see why they're doing that so they can get customers to come but if you're not going to be honest then there's no point for customers to be shopping here. You shouldn't have to drive an hour to be told that the email you got also left out the part that you have to spend money first. Other shops and dispensaries do not do this if they say you have something for free you get it that day you don't have to shop or buy anything additional.
