Im giving it two stars because the food was ok and the place does have a bit of nostalgia for me, we used to go with my mom when we were kids. The real issue was with our server. I believe her name was Emelia B. The place was not that busy, even if it were, it would not condone her negative demeanor and rudeness. Literally every other table was greeted with bread. We had a bowl full of butter, no bread. Ok fine, didn't say anything. Then she brought us coffee, there was one creamer thrown on the table. I watched as she checked in on other tables, smiling, welcoming. She avoided eye contact at all costs with me and when she did make eye contact it was to scowl. Why? I have no idea. She was rude, unprofessional, and basically treated us like garbage the entire time. She had no idea whose food was whose and just threw plates at us scowling still and rolling her eyes. If I was not with my children I would've said something but did not want to create a more negative experience for my kids. To say this place has gone downhill is an understatement. Doesn't matter if there's new owners. Its still a nightmare. In the least they need to let her go. God knows how many other people she has needlessly treated this way....
Read moreI am so glad Chase Nails is under new ownership! I dropped in this summer (2015) when I received a coupon in one of those clipper books we get in the mail. It said under new ownership and the coupon was for a free manicure. It's a nice layout and the staff is very friendly. They did a good job remodeling. Pricing is reasonable too. Good selection of polish; Essie and OPI brands. Most importantly, they do a great job! My no chip manicures last and so do my regular pedicures. I usually go every 2-4 weeks depending on what I have going on. They offer water and tea, and also have a flatscreen TV with a Netflix account. They also offer a quick neck massage with each mani which is a treat. I have my favorites, but haven't had bad service from any of the staff even when I walk in. If you're in the area, go check them out....
