Davy's Fresh Market — Local services in Buffalo Township

Davy's opened, I think, in November 2019, so it is new. It is closed Sunday and Monday. Since they are open Saturdays, Davy gives his employees Monday off. It closes every day at 6 PM.

This small grocery store features locally or regionally grown meats, dairy products, and vegetables. There is a small deli that sells the obvious meats and cheeses. The big draw is that most of the products are locally grown or at least regionally grown.

Davy's carries locally baked cookies, cakes and pies. It has nuts and candies produced outside the region but distributed locally. It is the place in Lewisburg to buy fresh fruits, vegetables, and garden plants from spring through fall, the times when Davy can get the freshest produce from...

Since moving back to central PA in 2021 this has been one of our favorite markets. Having a larger family we buy in bulk and vacuum seal as much as possible. The prices are beyond fair and the people are always friendly including the other customers. I think this places gives everyone the old country store vibe and we tend to enjoy that feeling. The other products in the store fruits, baked goods, frozen items and lots of deli items are always good as well. For $173.36 I got a case of chicken thighs (40lbs), 40lbs Chicken leg quarters, 10lbs of boneless pork loin and a TON of fresh produce and even some frozen goodies to try! Not sure if the meat is from local farmers but the produce is and supporting that market right now is crucial.

That is a steal! I was able to bag up the chicken and freeze in my deep freezer and that was enough to make 17 meals for my large family! I have slept on this place but will CONTINUE to go back! Check out their Facebook page because they update their meat case...
