The Apothecary Spa at Wild Valley Wellness Center — Local services in Burlington

Got a SpaFinder gift card and found this was the closest place to use it (30 min drive away). Got a massage which was pleasant enough. My main gripe is price. $110 for a 60 minute massage, and a tip is expected?? I can get a great massage locally for under $70. I wound up paying more out of pocket than the amount my gift card was for. Would not have gone here if it weren't for needing to use the card on something less than an hour away.

Also, I accidentally called the Anacortes location to schedule my appointment, and she mentioned their location has a steam room to use before or after your massage, and the Burlington location has a salt room. Found out Burlington does indeed have a salt room, but you have to pay...

This location doubles as a wellness spa and small apothecary full of herbs and salts. Great for those who make their own tea or bath salt blends. Friendly service! Ashley is always a delight. I got really lucky the day I found this place. It's always so hard to find a good tea shop. They have local, handmade wares. Such as essential oils and diffusers by Scents of Wellbeing, and stickers by other local artisans. Also a selection of crystals and precious stones. The spa side has luxurious lotions, balms, scrubs, salves, and creams to aid in whatever your skin could possibly need. It is super difficult to make a 90 minute appointment for a couples massage if you have a m-f job and Burlington can not accommodate a Couples massage so Anacortes it was. Hubby had a great massage and mine was ok. Don't waste money on the scalp massage though. It was very clean, professional and they offer a lot of services and add ONS $$ for a spa like CBD and sugar scrubs plus more along with a sauna and showers with everything you'd need to get ready for your day if you needed like shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer etc so that's nice.
