I had to pick up my pickup from the mechanics so my wife and I decided to try The Railroad Pub. I was looking over their menu online the day before and was eager to try their pizza. Just as we were about to arrive at the pub we had to wait for a train! How poetic. However this train must have been maneuvering some cars because it would pull forward, stop for 5 minutes, push back, stop for 5 minutes, pull forward for 5 minutes, push back again, and finally left. After 15 minutes or so we finally traveled the last 30 feet to the parking lot and was able to enter the Pub. Inside there was the typical pub-style high-top tables and chairs with a couple standard height tables and chairs. There were several tvs positioned around the dining area with sporting games on. We were visited by a hostess as soon. As we sat down and told us our server would be right with us and she was about a minute later. Very quick and attentive service the whole time. I ordered the Trainwreck 10" pizza that had sausage, ham, AND pepperoni with red onion, bell pepper, and black olives. I don't normally go for sliced ham on my pizza, but I was very pleased with this pizza! The sausage was a little spicy (always a good thing for me) and was offset by the sweetness of the ham. The pepperoni added some spiciness and kept the ham and bell pepper from making everything too sweet. Another favorite aspect I usually order is thin crust. I'm trying to limit my calories so when I splurge on a pizza I hold back a little by getting a thin crust. I did not ask for a thin crust but it came that way!! Sweet! And BOY! what a nice crust! It was tasty and held up nicely (after I took a bite from the end) My wife ordered the Salmon Salad and was presented with a rather large salad with a full salmon filet lying on top. She was very impressed with her salad and ate more of that dish than I expected. She rarely eats all that much and ate at least 3/4 of that salad and all of the salmon!

I admit i am picky about my pizza. I like a good balance between 1) crust, 2) cheese/toppings, and 3) sauce (which is marinara or nothing for me). This is my first visit here and sadly the pizza was a "swing and a miss". Crust was so SO thin in the entire middle that is was like a wet napkin ... while the crust was great...nice and crispy and robust. So, a weird mix. I lift the crust and the whole rest of the slice is immediately hangs straight down as half of the very abundant meat toppings drop off. So it took two hands to kinda guide the slice to my pie hole. šŸ˜† Cheese-wise... pretty light, as in i had to look closely just now. Light on the sauce. Huge amounts of meat on the Trainwreck pizza i ordered. Which can be good but alas there was almost no crust so it felt like i was eating a meat dish served on dough doily. And am literally going home and finding some more carbs to eat. Its all good...now i know...im skipping the pizza when i am here. Again, this is a personal review of mostly my pizza preference. So if yer like me, then this will give you a heads up. Beyond pizza... very good beer list. Cool atmosphere. Nice staff.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Train Wreck and had a great experience at Speakeasy so I had high hopes for Railroad. I left disappointed and won’t be returning. First, the ranch I assume is their own recipe—not a fan of the excess dill in it. My hubby doesn’t like dill (but usually likes ranch), so we were both disappointed when we got our chicken wings. The wings themselves were really good, ranch was not. The cheesy bread was thin and kind of ā€œmehā€. My 3 year old loved it though. The pizzas are very thin and lacking in cheese and sauce. My Train wreck pizza was average as was the pepperoni. The Cajun pizza was okay but none of them seemed worth the price AT ALL. The drinks were the best part. The waitress initially brought me the wrong drink—a passion fruit ā€œmojitoā€. If it was good, I would have kept it but I’m not a fan of White Claws so I asked for what I originally ordered—the peach mojito mule, which was so tasty! My husband’s beer was also delicious—the Mango Cart. We went for a birthday party and our party was split among three tables, so not all were able to sit together. I’m not sure the last time I went to a restaurant where tables couldn’t be moved to arrange for a large party. It wasn’t a big deal to me, but worth noting if you’re considering this place for a large group. All in all, we were disappointed and will most likely not...
