This used to be by far 5 stars for my family and I until today. I have never in my entire life been talked to by anyone who works in customer service with such disrespect and ignorance. My family and I have spent alot of money in this store the past 4 years with buying our upstairs matching couch and love seat to our end tables, to a cpl of nice rugs, a recliner leather chair to our latest order which was supposed to be a vanity dresser which vanity means the mirror that is connected to it and we bought tge matching nightstand. The only thing we did not purchase was the chest dresser that came with the set. We have always had the greatest customer service no question about it. Until the past 3 weeks and as of today. I can even post the picture of the furniture ordered showing what I obviously wanted. But 3 weeks or so ago we got the call that our vanity dresser and nightstand were in and ready to be picked up. So after we picked up what was supposed to the entire set that included the Dresser with mirror attatched and nightstand besides the bed and dresser chest. We went home to put or new beautiful set in our bedroom and we noticed that the mirror that came with the dresser wasn't there we just figured it was just misplaced in their warehouse and forgot to bring it out to us. So I give tbe store owner a call and it was past business hours so I left a very nice and respectful voicemail letting him know that be forgot to give us the mirror that came with the dresser and that we could pick it the very next day. Well the owner called me back and left me a voicemail saying that he didn't have tbe mirror because I never ordered it. As upset as I was and confused because that was the whole reason of me coming back to this after looking at other furniture stores I liked rhus set the best, and even the owner is the one who helped me find this beautiful bedroom set because it matched our new bed we had just bought. And I swear on everything I love I told the owner that if I didn't find anything I liked id be coming back for it because I loved the vanity dresser aka the dresser with mirror attached. When I came back to put half down on everything I mentioned again more than once that this.dresser and mirror will look amazing in our bedroom and was so excited to have found a beautiful dresser with tbe mirror attached. I also mentioned prior to the sale that we had just sold our king size bed with matching vanity (mirror) dresser and need one that comes with mirror. So this owner of Discount Furniture new exactly what I was looking for and new I ordered a dresser with mirror from the gecko. We sat for almost an hour the first time and he was physically helping me look at his catalog on his computer Specifically for a dresser with mirror attached. When I called him back he swore up and down that I did not order the mirror which is why it wasn't there for us to pick-up I told him alright well its order it please. I believe he told me it would cost 180 dollars which I said sounds great and even asked if we could possibly put a rush on it which he explained it was coming from Chicago so a rush wouldn't work and I very respectfully said well thats alright then. The owner assured me that as soon as we hung up with each he would put the order in right away and that it would take about a week and a half to get to his store and I told him that was completely fine. And forget this was almost 3 weeks ago now. Well yesterday I realized I have not heard back from anyone and me being busy didn't think to call sooner because I assumed it was just taking a little longer. So I called the store yesterday and spoke to someone different letting him know that the owner ordered tbe mirror that was supposed to had came with my dresser. The man was very nice and was doing everything he could to help find the mirror/order. Even went and checked the warehouse. Told me he didn't see anything let alone did I even have an order for the mirror. I asked him to please leave him a msg to call me the very next day after they opened. He called...

My experience was wonderful! Nancy was very knowledgeable and helpful; patient and welcoming with my preschool age son while I looked around (and many furniture stores are NOT so kid-friendly, so this was an immediate bonus); and managed to provide quality service while there were several other customers in the store AND she was training a new associate. I still felt like the only customer in the store!

Purchasing new furniture for my home was WAY overdue, so I had a ton of questions and was uncertain about which bedroom set and couch set to purchase. I never felt any pressure or even being slightly rushed as I made the final decision to go with a beautiful Ashley bedroom set, queen mattress set, and large Ashley sectional couch. My purchase was more than I wanted to spend, but knew it was far time to purchase new furniture, and Discount Home Furniture even helped me to finance about 80% of my total purchase! I received quality items at a very reasonable price!

My furniture was delivered about 4 days after my purchase (I purchased on a Monday, and delivery was early Saturday afternoon). Delivery and installation attendants called me about 15 minutes before they arrived, and even with only two installers, provided one of the best delivery and installation experiences I have ever had! I didn’t have to do anything! They brought in all of my furniture (mind you my bedroom set alone was almost 800 pounds of solid wood in weight) and installed everything professionally and efficiently. They moved and placed all items to my preferences, never showing any sign of irritation or rushing to get done. They were great! Total delivery and install time was about an hour & 1/2. Not bad at all for the amount of items I had!

I am writing this review approximately 3 weeks since my purchase. As of today, I have NOT HAD any issues with ANY of my furniture. Nancy did advise me to mail in my warranty for the mattress and also purchase a quality mattress protector, and I did both of these things right away. I feel 100% confident that IF (and I seriously doubt) there are any issues with my furniture, that Discount Home Furniture will stand behind their quality customer service, sale, and resolve the issue. Their reputation seems to be quite important to them, as it should be, and Nancy mentioned several times that she wanted me to be satisfied with my purchase. But as I have previously stated, these are quality products, I have already received several compliments on my new furniture, and I look forward to purchasing a dining room table in the coming months before the holidays.

I don’t even think I can find the adequate words to describe the experience I had with Discount Home Furniture in Burnsville. We are in the process of selling our house and purchasing a new home so we decided to get rid of a lot of our old furniture and purchase new furniture (for 8+ rooms) when we move. We had looked at several other places before we found Discount Home Furniture, but couldn’t find anywhere that offered exactly we wanted for reasonable prices.

I happened upon Discount Home Furniture’s website while doing a Google search and was extremely impressed with the great reviews, their selection of furniture and affordable pricing, so we decided to go to their store to check it out. We were approached almost immediately by a very kind saleswoman who was extremely helpful and after explaining our situation to her, she introduced us to the owner, Hafiz, who is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. We told him we would like to come back to the store in a few days with the list of items we had found on their website that we were interested in so we could sit down and go over pricing. I wasn’t able to get back there for about a week, but as soon as I walked in, Hafiz remembered me and my situation and took the time to go through my list with me and worked on bundling items to save me a ton of money. I told him I would be able to pay the balance on the day we close on our home and for a very reasonable deposit, he offered to order everything on our list so that it would be available and ready to be delivered the day after we moved into our new home. No other furniture store we had been to prior was willing to offer that to us, which was a big inconvenience.

The customer service at Discount Home Furniture is unbeatable. The quality of furniture is outstanding and we are so grateful to Hafiz for working with us to get us the best possible pricing AND the convenience of ordering our large order of furniture in advance so we could get it delivered when we move in, instead of waiting weeks like we would have had we gone elsewhere.
