Oriental Market Plus — Local services in Burnsville

Well, last week I bought some food (Nam Khao)from the deli area, especific the fridge. The food come in a transparent plastic mix rice, veggie, and meet etc. I was so excited this was my dinner. My surprise at the time I put the food in a plate... The pork sausage was not pink color as normal but a gray light color??. It looks like the food was exposed to room temperature for a while and returned to the cold. I checked expiration date and it was not expired? My partner and I decided not to eat the food because the meat part was not okay and we didn't want to end up with food poisoning the next day or overnight. We took some pictures of the food and throw the food in the organic can. I saved the receipt, couldn't go to the store that weekend because I work full day so I decided to go the incoming available day for me, that was Wednesday. I got there, went inside and explained to the cashier what happened with the food. She looked like she didn't understand anything and there was another person beside her and we explained to him what happened again and he said where is the receipt? I showed it to him then he said where is the food? I said, in the trash it was not safe to eat and he told us , he needed to food back for a exchange. We told him we have pictures and show them to him and he said I need the food to see it was bad. We told him we didn't want to save the food in our fridge for days. We told them we just need exchange of food , we didn't came here for the money because we really like the food, but no the did not give us another food or my money back. The guy looked at us like we were a lier or something. I was very disappointed this ended like this, I really like the store and food before this incident. but now the costumes service is very bad. So in few words, I'm never coming back to buy food in this store. And yes , I don not recommend this store. I understand sometimes food go bad and it hard to track it but they refused to give me a good one. It was not about the money, it was about the bad service. Came in expecting a great experience based on the reviews, but sales associate in his 20's was extremely condescending when asked a simple question. My family and I approached said associate regarding the price of an item, and he was very unfriendly, did not want to help, and gave unneccessary negative attitude. I do not understand how this extremely rude associate was allowed to be on the sales floor assisting guests, and based on my managerial experience, he would not have made it passed the initial interview. Either he needs to be coached, and retrained, or work in another field that's definitely not customer service. Amazon seems like a better place for him, though he lookes quite feeble, and may not last a week. Terrible terrible experience. Would definitely rate 0 stars...

Great selection and always a full parking lot full of people and a lot of products to choose from. From fresh to frozen. From vegetarian/vegan to seafood and a variety of cuts of meat. I always make an effort to stop in if I can. I've even done keto before (regular diet now) and could still find many things. I've made bone broth from oxtail and other soup bones. Lots of veggies, seaweed, oils, spices, etc., all the different protein options. You can find things for everyone. For children or friends, I'd buy ice cream, fun snacks, and drinks.
