Muddy Chicken — Restaurant in Burnsville

Let's start by saying this was our first and last time ordering from this place. We placed an order for 2 sets of 8 piece wings. We had to quick cancel this order as we put in an old phone number for the contact. We placed it again with the right information. The website estimated 20 mins to finish our order. When we paid, our estimated time was 9:15 to 9:30pm. WE PLACED THE ORDER AT 8:22pm. 1 hour to get 16 wings?

It gets better.... We wait for the confirmation text that they received our order. Never get one. we waited 40 minutes before we call. This is what we are told. "oh yeah I saw that you placed an order but canceled. I didn't hear the notification that you placed the order again." So I asked if I would not have called, my order probably would not have been done. I was told " I would not have seen the order since I did not hear a notification of an order". Do you guys really not check for online orders? I was told that it would be done in 15 minutes, and I told the lady that I would be there right at 9:15, and nobody up at the front area, just our food, as if they knew they did wrong and did not want to be confronted.

Now for the s**t food. Greasy chicken literally swimming in the sauce. There was at least half an inch of sauce, as if they just threw the chicken in the microwave and dumped half a bottle of the sauce. The taste was not great either. I ordered the mango habanero wings; all you could taste is habanero. Note; their ratings for how hot wings are, are completely off. For people who have a sensitive palette, the buffalo will be way too hot for you. The habanero was rated a 2 and had no enjoyable taste to it.

The place smelled s**y, and you had 3 people waiting to be seated when there were 3 tables that were occupied, and not busy, but instead you chose to hide from your mistake....

We did a ladies night out here. It's much cleaner than when it used to be Venue 13 ( I loved that place too though and have great memories). Our waitress was busy yet very attentive and she was funny which is important to have on a ladies night out.

I recommend the cheese ball cheese curds. Yum! It was half off on traditional wings so I ordered the honey siracha wings. They were great and had all the classic things you expect in spicy wings: meat, spice and sticky fingers! Perfect!

The drinks were also great. 2 for 1's were an unexpected treat. I had 2 margaritas and 2 old fashions within a few hours.... So needless to say we had a FAB time! Lol. I wish I had time to play the basketball hoop game there.

There was a giant 8ft chicken that I helped a guy take photos with. Hello! This chicken was watching me eat his family... It was a bit awkward but I got over it pretty quick. They make some darn good chicken wings. Sorry not sorry Mr. 8ft Chicken!!

The one thing that was missing was a great dessert. Here's my suggestion. Take a brownie...slather it with honey siracha sauce and plop a scoop of high quality (maybe local) vanilla ice cream on the plate and BAM! Oh Baby! That's a great dessert. My friends know me as Wanna. So I'll let you call this masterpiece "The Wanna" or "Wanna Brownie". Whatever you decide. Just let me know when I can test it out before it hits the menu.

I'm all in on this place and I hope you succeed. People tend to have high expectations when a place first opens but come on ppl! Give a small business a chance!!! Ok I think my 2 for 1's have kicked in. Have a great night! Much...

Date of Visit: 3.16.2019 around 5:30PM - Quality of service, as always, was seriously lacking. Speed of service as well. But the boneless chicken wings were amazing, of course! Never received our french fries & seasoned sour cream that we ordered. Biggest complaint was that the restaurant got busy, so multiple groups of people came up to us asking how much longer we were going to be, and if they could take our table. We finally told one group that they could have the table after we left, but then they stood less than 2 feet from the table and stared at us while we tried to enjoy our meal. We ended up boxing up our meal and taking it home. Dropping my rating from 4 stars to 3 stars because of this. Likely won't be back soon.

Date of Visit: 1/12/2019 around 5:30PM - Boneless chicken wings were five stars, but combined with the service and non-chicken wing food, I'm rating four stars. We arrived for our first visit to no greeter at the door, no sign regarding seat-yourself or wait to be seated, so we stood awkwardly at the door for 5 minutes before deciding to seat ourselves. We sat at the table for 10 minutes before being approached by a server. We ordered our beverages and then received a different server. We ordered and received our food in a decent amount of time. We finished our food and waited almost 20 minutes to receive a bill, despite having all our baskets stacked up on the edge of the table in the "hey, we want to leave" fashion. Don't waste your money on the seasoned sour cream - there's barely any seasoning so it tastes like...
