here is a little something to think about it ,customer service and store manager, i personally being a customer for the Caldwell store for 29 years and for 27 years got nothing but good service, but since new store open things change a lot is not the friendly store that grew up on the community, now turns out to be a big corporation where quality of service and equipment degrade ,here is a little of the stories i being having lately, on summer of 2023 purchase a wood splitter to use it that summer to bring wood for my own personal use and take it to the field and when i start using the equipment starts leaking hydraulic fluid right away later on the week take the equipment back to the store so they can repair it and they tell me that it will be a month before they can do something now being only one week after the purchase date i ask them to refund my money and at that moment someone talk to the manager and they came and told me to leave the equipment and that they will look at it on that week and sure they did returned back to me the same week and it did work properly after that finish that summer put the equipment away and store it under a shed ,summer 2024 turn it on again to use it and start leaking again since a year pass already ,dint mention anything just fixed my self ,that's the story with DeWalt wood splitter now same summer same time purchase 2 chain saw machines one a Stihl 194t a little machine and another one Husqvarna brand 564 model one for the big job one for the smaller jobs, at that time they offer me and extended warranty with the purchase of chain oil and fuel mix oil and that sounded really good since they where not an every day use machines i want to have a little more time of warranty to try them every season, well i take my 2 new machines, mix my gallon of fuel with there own oil mix the sold me and went to get my shores than and bring wood home well after couple of hours of use on little machine fails to start so i take it in and leave it on there shop for a week and they told me that they clean the carburetor and that was the reason that it wont start and they told me that carburetor got duty because i dint properly mix the fuel that was hard to believe because i have a gallon specifically designed to mix this fuel for the machines i even take it in to the store and show them the gallon that i use anyways after that machine works just fine and was able to use it more on that summer with no problems , big machine was only use to get the tree down and put it away not use it a lot since is a bigger machine is heavy to use not comfortable at all that was the entire job this big machine did for that season 2023 only an hour or les of work summer 2024 getting ready again for the season get machines start and make sure they run properly got the field start cutting a tree big machine starts getting hot a sensor or something and starts dying well i was not able to bring a tree down start using little machine to cut trees that where already in the ground and finish my day, bring the big machine in to the store 2 months after that they finally call saying machine is ready went to pick it up, i ask the associate to turn it on for me and guess what no start ,the mechanic starts dinking around with the machine blaming the poor quality of the replacement parts and finally i said i Leave the machine with you so you can take your time and fix it properly and that's what i did an hour later they call my wife saying machine is ready i hope that's true and the machine is properly fix, an at this point i was bringing the little machine because it starts making a noise in the clutch so i thought there was a warranty since they sold me that extended warranty with the purchase of the fluids ,well surprise there is not because the warranty will only cover manufacture parts not the clutch so they want to charge me 20.00 to start looking at the machine and see what was wrong with it when the already knew it was the clutch and i said no i don't agree to that please call the manager and...

JCA has always gone to D&B for everything from tools, shovels, Carhartt sweaters and jackets for its 40+ employees for our Christmas party and everything has always been good. Up until Thursday one of our employees (AKA the owners son) got denied for supposedly trying to pass a bad check. which was signed by none other then the owner. The check had JCA UNDERGROUND on it our employee had a JCA shirt on in a JCA truck with a JCA hat on. Our employee gave him his ID. His last name matched the owners last name obviously. We’ve spent hundreds of thousands of dollars there with no problems, employees have always taken in checks with no issue. We’ve always been amazing customers but I guess everyone is new or something because most people who work there recognize us due to how much money we spend there and even joke about how often we shop there for business related purposes. Our employee was treated unfairly and looked down on for some odd reason and made him seem like he was doing something wrong. The cashier made a remark like if he was going to steal a leather man, which by the way we’ve probably bought over a hundred from there. It just didn’t make any sense why this time out of thousands of times we’ve been denied purchase and treated as if we were doing something nefarious. We don’t appreciate the way said employee was treated And belittled after we’ve spent so much money there. Just an FYI for the future if an employee comes in with all company apparel in a company truck with a company check that all say JCA and he has the same last name as the owner he’s more then likely not trying to pass a bad check. D&B doesn’t want to sell us stuff then we will be going elsewhere and spending our hundreds of...

Love the clothes here!! Have come several times shopping ALONE. Never had a problem! Until today... I stopped by with my little family. (Toddler 2year old) We all know how toddlers can be! They are no joke!! I wasn't looking as good as I normally look lol.. (but keep that in mind)

Lets start off by saying.. EMPLOYEES SHOULD NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER. To that employee who was around me when I commented to my sister "Oh, Gabby look this pant is cute!"

She sarcastically said "YEAH, IT'S $100.00 DOLLARS"

First, no one asked for a price. Second, no one asked for your opinion. Third, you should have helped asking for a size. UGH. I looked at her and smiled off. I have no intention in creating a scene at a store.

For me this was an unnecessary comment. I know I don't look like I have a lot of money. But guess what? I'm wealthier than what you think. Glad to say I'm a business owner and trust me if I knew my employees were treating my customers like this, I would fire you! Came to find out her name is Rebecca.

Now, for the other employee Lorina who was more concerned about my little toddler running around. He's fine he didn't fall!!! Because your comment was also unnecessary.

Update: Later that day I stopped by with my husband to get him some boots. Yep the two employees treated us differently when they realized we looked fancy...
