Gold Rush Dining Hall — Local services in California

Cal U's main eatery - buffet style and the only eatery that accepts meal swipes. This might be the only college cafeteria in America that doesn't serve burgers and hot dogs on a daily basis. I'm fine to try new things, but every day? The only things that seem remain consistent day in and day out are pizza and the salad bar. Food quality isnt superb but passable, which is really all you can expect from a college cafeteria. Open 7 days a week from early morning well into the evening which easily makes it the most versatile...

9/26/19 Update: This year the serving sizes have decreased a lot! Even if you're getting it to go, they only give you a little bit then you get an attitude (mainly from the student workers) if you ask for more. And about the student workers, some of them are rudest people you'll encounter in the food service industry. The AVI workers that aren't students are very nice though.
