I have never in my life seen such a lack of professionalism at any establishment. Ever. The manager is a drug addict. Thatās a fact. She got the job because the entire staff, including the former manager, quit because of her. She only got the job through default. She is not manager material. She talks about every employee there to other employees and customers. Managers are supposed to help the employees, not talk about them. She spends her entire shift outside smoking. She talks about her personal problems at work. I know more about her life than I want to know through no fault of my own. I shouldnāt know that they cut her food stamps, but I do because she was complaining to her co-worker while my disgusting sub was made. I always thought personal problems were supposed to be left at the door. The same could be said for Clarissa. I know more about how many hours she can work without her benefits getting cut. She also complains about her health issues while making food. She goes out of her way to make customers feel guilty. If she has health issues that prohibit her from doing the job she voluntarily applied for and accepted. All in all, it is as if California Subway scraped the underbelly of society to acquire the āstaffā they have now. Please donāt get me started on how Heathers spouse and kid are constantly in there and they have conversations while she A- ignores customers and B- ignores her Child that screams, yells, runs, jumps, and is just overall disruptive to customers. As a regular customer, I miss the former manager and the staff that was there pre-Heather. Letās also not get started on the fact the entire staff quit because of her. She openly sells drugs from the restaurant, misgendered a co-worker, and has been overall filth. The owners decided they wanted to put lipstick on a pig and call it a manager, but it will always be nothing more than a pig in lipstick. Do better. I would give less than 1 star if I could. Absolute filth. Pigs....

Got a chicken protein bowl. For the price being more than a sub, you'd think they'd make up for no bread by being happy to give you a fair share of veggies. Most Subways do. This one was out of just about everything or just had scraps left. I guess refilling the prep work was too much to ask. Got about 10 leaves of spinach on it, 7 tiny tomato ends(out of middle pieces), got the dregs of the green peppers from the bottom of the container, waited an extra 2 minutes for him to find a handful of banana peppers in the back, had the last half squirt of the sauce I wanted, and found the fountain drink running only water.
I know this sounds like a hidden camera show(I had that thought) but it is no exaggeration.
Then, to top it off, "they had no change" so I was forced to use a card, only to have the elderly bald guy behind the counter intrude on the screen AND PRESS THE BUTTON FOR GIVING HIMSELF AN 18% TIP! When I called him out on it, he gives a half hearted "oh sorry" rather than giving me those 2 dollars back! If I owned this place, this guy would be fired. He's giving Subway a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHonestly the issue I had with this subway still blows my mind. I was fine with my 30 minute wait- there were 4 people ahead of me. I ordered through the app but was there in person. 2 more sandwich artists show up to help as the guy was swamped with orders. While I was waiting, for some reason two girls who had just been to dairy queen (and still with all their food from there!) enter and start eating in the subway.
I just had a simple request that I went to subway in particular because you can talk to the people making it, and the mon valley seems incapable of. I just wanted the mayonnaise on the outside of the bread before the meat went down. It just acts like a barrier and helps my sandwiches from getting soggy the next day. The woman making my sandwich acted like this was impossible because her boss "Told her to make sandwiches this way" Okay? I'm PAYING you to put the mayonnaise on. I don't see what the issue is. She snapped at me when I asked for the sandwich to be "made correctly."
I'd much rather eat at the Subway in Perryopolis but I'm not driving when this one is in...
