I'm pretty sure if you live around here, you know how expensive Riesbeck's is. I only buy things when on sale. The only time I'll buy something at their crazy expensive price is if I can't find it anywhere else and need it. Over the years though their products have gone downhill. Like their donuts and rotisserie chicken. The donuts are greasy and sticky. Like the long johns are so greasy and sticky they're almost inedible. The icing is wet, so when they're lined up in the box, they all get stuck together. It's just a hot mess. Now, the rotisserie chicken has gone up to $9.99, which is absolutely insane. The biggest problem is that by no means are these chickens worth that price. Every time I get one, it is over cooked, flavorless and dry. Not to mention you must inspect the chicken for leftover feathers before eating it. A couple times I went there (and this goes for the Barnesville location also), they wouldn't let me pick my own chicken. It was behind glass and didn't permit me to decide which one I, the customer, wanted. Walmart's chickens are must tastier and are $3 cheaper. So basically if you go to this store, look at the prices and look over the food...
Read moreThis is my Go-to for grocery shopping, been shopping here for years since I first moved out on my own as a teenager. I very rarely shop anywhere else, they have everything you need there...from a pharmacy, deli, organic, excellent produce, to-go meals if your close on your lunch break, offer catering meals, a bakery to customize a cakes, cookies and pies, and the meat dept., also have a pretty big organic section. Very very friendly staff, great customer service. Very clean store.. I can always count on having fresh produce (which is my go-to) they've added a sushi bar and regular salad bar and pizza stand over the past few years that are a huge hit... and big bonus even though local people complain its higher prices, they take customer service to the next level and they load up your groceries for you take them to your vehicle and load them in it which is my favorite esp for the elderly people, and disabled. No one else around here...
Read moreI called in for pricing on a plain white 2 tier cake and a plain white 3 tier cake. I was quoted $45.50 for the 2 tier and $84.50 for the 3 tier. When my fiancé and I went in to order the cake I asked for a plain white 3 tier cake. Once they found out it was for a wedding they said the price would be almost $300 for the same exact cake I was already quoted for on the phone. I told them I was quoted less than a $100 and they told me the almost $300 price was the price.
ABSOLUTELY trying to price gouge because it’s for a wedding. Almost $300 for a completely plain white cake is RIDICULOUS. It is also poor business to quote one price then try to triple that price. Reisbecks will never get my...
