This is a nice spacious facility. Huge parking lot which is a plus. The front desk staff were very welcoming and pleasant. Check in was seamless; they accept cash and cashless payments. There are several flyers in place for community events and such. This was nice to see. The pool was busy and that made my day. Everyone staying active and making it fun. When I saw mostly elders, I was concerned the pool would be too warm but the temperature was on point. I got some laps in and then enjoyed the hot tub right after. A perfect way to start the day. What I will say is the showers are directly next to the toilets. Someone was releasing their internal demons during my shower so if you are reading this, do that at home. The dove on my body can’t erase the internal turmoil your body is going through. Overall it was a nice experience. I would definitely come back and I recommend others visit as well.

We came to the outdoor pool Over all a good experience, I was a bit taken aback that if you come to the first session, and want to continue to stay for the second, you will have to repay the entry fee, this wasn’t specified to us before coming and when signing in. Best option is to pick one session. Seating was plenty not all under shade. They have adult swim while there are breaks which is nice. Can enter food as you’d like There is bag check as you come in (Food is not confiscated) There are vending machines (limited merchandise) probably best to bring from home. Sunscreen!!! :)

Took my grands the for splash 12p til 3p, and we had a lovely time. The staff of life guards are the best at watching and keeping observations assuring we where safe and abiding by the rules of the facility. It's become my favorites place to spend time with my grand children ❤️

Made a party reservation with them, the Party planner SPurnell gave us the wrong party package. We told her we wanted the Funbrella which is 175 and she gave us the Party tent for 225 but the 50 deposit. When I asked her about $225 balance she said it was the down deposit and party packaged combined. When I was there making the reservation, I seen their list of parties and how people wasn't satisfied. I should've know then that they are unprofessional. My sister and I called that Wednesday (a couple days before the party) to be able to make a payment arrangement, they tell us what i explained earlier in this review and told us no one will be able to speak with us or assist us until Saturday but someone will be in Thursday. We both called back today, a lady name Nicki were telling us no one will be in to assist us until Friday or Saturday and that there is nothing she can do and that I am preaching to the chorus because I explained Friday will be too late of an notice to whether we can change the package or refund our money. I explained my issue multiple times to get the same response so I asked to speak with DPR (department of parks and recreations) headquarters since she couldn't (well just didn't want to) assist me or no manager is available. Which is ridiculous that there is not an manager on site for a day. She transferred me to someone over her named Nancy, she was very understanding and instead of telling me she wasn't able to do anything, she called around trying to satisfy our needs, which no one else tried to do. She said she will see if they still have the funbrella and give us a call back. She called back and informed me that she was successful changing reservations. My point in this review is that they are VERRRRRYYYYYY Unprofessional and lazy. I explained to Nancy that that was all I wanted, for someone to try and fix SPurnell's mistake. If it wasn't for Nancy, I would probably be up there going off. Thank you so MUCH NANCY WYMAN (not sure if that's how she spell her last name) She was extremely helpful!! I WOULD NOT PLAN ANYTHING ELSE...

I would give Allentown Pool zero stars if it was possible! I reserved a time slot to attend the pool with my 4 year old daughter and was denied entry because I unknowingly did not add her to the reservations. I created my account with pgc parks years ago, so when I checked out there was no option to add her thus I assumed my reservation would be fine. However I was very wrong! I arrived to check in the customer service was horrible. The manager Elaina Kritz was very unprofessional and showed no compassion or understanding. The attendant literally closed the window in front of my crying 4 year old daughter! Told us to move to the side so that they can assist with other guest. I understand everyone is taking extra precautions because of COVID-19 but I don’t and will not condone poor customer service. My child has been stuck in the house for months and the one day she is able to go out and do something she loves it was taken away from her. It is not ok and I’m not sure how useful customer service is because I have sent an email and they have completely disregarded it. If you do not want to treat people with respect please do not work in customer service. You can only imagine the pain I felt witnessing my child crying hysterically because she couldn’t go to the pool that she sang about during her 30 minute car ride. The pool was not crowded and below the 50 people capacity. And as I said earlier I did make a reservation and pay, the difference for her to be added was only 1 dollar. I hope no one has to go through this or any child they have suffered enough because of...

I love coming here in any season but the summer. The inside staff are very friendly and helpful. I love the swim instructors and the swim classes for my kids. The swim instructors and indoor lifeguards have been so very kind and respectful. SUMMER TIME BEWARE!!! The staff before you get inside the pool are very nice but once you get inside it is a different story. I said excuse me to one of the female managers to ask a question regarding my child taking the swim test and she responded like I was bothering her taking me totally by surprise. The rules in the main area are extremely strict. If you want to come there to practice the swim skills your kids have learned in swim class, don't do it! Some of the lifeguards are extremely strict and rude and will not allow you to go pass the shallow section in the main pool. They say if it is over your child's shoulders even if you are with them and want to practice with them you cannot. The shallow part is always crowded. I have seen so many parents ask the lifeguards in a friendly manner if they could move over just a little to the other side which is about about 4 ft or under and two of the young ladies responded in such a rude manner. The young men are much friendlier and respectful when answering questions. I bought a 3 months membership for the summer but only came to that location twice. There needs to be training in professionalism at this facility and a seasoned manager to correct rudeness and...
