Majestic Turnaround — Local services in Canton

I definitely do not recommend Majestic Turnaround because one of the employees attempted to pull a scam over on me in the store. They have a sign which states that they will charge 3.5% extra charge on any purchase made with a debit card. Though this is ridiculous, there was a sign so I don’t judge them because they didn’t attempt to hide it. But herein lies the scam. They said that the total was $14 dollars and some amount of cents. They asked if I was paying with cash, reinformed me of the extra-charge and then stated that I owed $17 dollars and some amount of cents. This is obviously to anyone who has finished elementary math, this is not 3.5%. So I asked if the two employees were sure that they gave me the right charge. One immediately stated, in a very snapped manner, that she was sure. I then said again, you are not correct. It is not 3.5%, check again. The younger employee realized her mistake the refunded the extra charge, but the older one made no comment after that. Now, this is NOT an honest mistake. If it was an honest mistake, she would have said that she wasn’t sure, but, this did not happened. She reaffirmed that she was sure. So, if she was so sure, that is proof that she tried to pull over a scam on me until I called her out. She was adamant that she was correct, instead of checking her math. If it was a mistake she would have checked her math instead of stating rudely that was sure. If I had been worse at math then she would have overcharged me completely as when I asked if she was sure, oh, how sure she was. Besides this major issue, I also do not recommend that you come here because the A/C was terrible, it was very hot inside and the lights in the bathroom did not work. I would suggest you check out the numerous other thrift shops in Canton instead...

Everyone was helpful and kind at this location. They helped us find things in their very large and ever changing inventory. It's basically a large flea market. Some items are modern, and some smell of age. We were here for about an hour when some of our group had to exit due to mold sensitivity. There's no public bathroom at this location, but there's a gas station nearby that has one. There's also a bar connected that offered their restroom. We felt very welcomed by staff that we decided to check out their other location. We were interested in the video game selection at the other location. Unfortunately, the other location lied to us about the video game consoles that we purchased being tested, and they wouldn't let us test it. I wouldn't recommend buying gaming things from this store unless they allow testing. All sales are final, so you'll be hoping that you didn't just spend your weeks pay for something that doesn't work. If you're looking for something else, there's a lot of different things and an inventory that will change. It's a possibility of finding many interesting items that don't need to be tested. I can’t recommend the other location for anything outside of that either, and it's a smaller store. It was a fun adventure overall for our family celebration. Brought in train set and m&m figures owner agreed to sell train 200 firm came in 5 months later owner tells me it's in her storage she'll get it out of storage and call me never called went back to store now I'm being told train sold months ago came back in to get paid she threatened to call police if I didn't leave her store after several weeks I finally got paid for the train set she said she sold it for 180 it was supposed to be 200 firm. I retrieved my m&m figures the one was missing the muscle instrument I went back in to see about the instrument she said what do you want me to do about it she says if you don't leave my store I'm calling the police she puts both her hands on my back and pushed me into the door out the door this lady is nuts people beware I'll chalk it as a loss don't ever want to see that...
