We just moved to Ohio from Nashville. We love to go listen to bands play and so we were invited to the ignorant owl to hear the 1988 band perform. We really enjoyed our night out! The atmosphere is great, the staff really are on top of their game! The prices were phenomenal too! The only downside to our visit was the layout of the room. It's a small place and they do well working with the layout they have. From where most of the seating is you can't really see the band because of all of the equipment in the way. The raised area in the back is the furthest from the band so I don't know that that's any better. The bar probably has the best view but how many people can you sit at a bar? It's nearly impossible to move through the room once the house is full. (Moving through the tight area of tables and chairs to go to the bathroom and then trying to get back to your seat was dreadful) I honestly felt REALLY bad for the wait staff! A large bar sits in the middle of the floor and all the other seating is on the outer edges. Bands perform in a corner only feet from the people sitting at the bar and tables on either side, leaving NO space dance.

My suggestion if anyone should ask... Move the bar to a wall, spread tables out in the center which would give a better view of the stage, room to dance & sanity to...

I don't want to rate them extremely low due to the fact that not all apples in the bunch are bad... With that being said my boyfriend wanted to try different places in the area and had stumbled across this one online. It seemed inviting with the menu and the selection. We had went to try and find their website but there was none available.. they did have a facebook that didn't offer much more information. The only way I found the menu was by finding it posted by other guests on google. Ended up calling to place an order and they had told me that their kitchen closed early for the holiday (this was Friday July 2nd...two days before the holiday) but okay so we ended it there. They then called be back and said that their kitchen MIGHT be open and to go ahead and order. So I ordered a hot dog (on their menu) and I could hear the cook in the back nastly telling the hostess that they do not sell hotdogs... so I went onto my fiances meal of sausage and peppers (again on their menu) and he again said that they don't sell anything like that and that he just told me that... at that point I hung up the phone as I did not want to go through all of the trouble dealing with any of that. I don't know what happened that night but it was weird and...

This place was super neat! I could stay here all night just for an interesting place to lounge about and enjoy the sight on an otherwise boring night. The theme is purples, neon greens, all on a dark setting. Awesome atmosphere. And the art! Wow! So much skilled artwork displayed in this place. Each bar stool had a different artistic piece on it's seat. The walls had art, the food itself.... also art! They have been open three years. And the food of course is EXCELLENT. They have a lot of home brewed stuff in their menu, but also the classics like steak, wings, and rather normal bar food. But then they got the better stuff like calamari, unique sandwiches, and awesome sausage! I can confidently recommend their steak to any steak lover. So soft, slight taste of smokey charcoal, and loaded with juicy flavor. And prices were very fair! I also recommend their calamari and chili. Careful, a lot of their items can be on the spicy side!

This is the first place I would go to entertain my out of town friends visiting Canton!

Grabbed the groupon on a Sunday and decided to give this place a try. Checked Google for the hours and it said it opened at 11am...we were yelled at when we walked in at 11:10. I guess they open at noon. We were going to cut our losses and just leave for good (it definitely wasn't the kind of place I expected seeing from the Groupon art.) There's an antique store next door we decided to check out...that's why we stayed. Ultimately I'm glad we did. We got quesadillas, 2 cheese burger specials, and the cheesesticks. The cheesesticks are great! They're fried in a wonton, not breaded! What a nice change up. The burgers were wonderful. We were told it was a cheeseburger special, but then apparently you are charged extra for the cheese. Whatever... still worth it. The people inside were very nice after we got past that first getting yelled at. That could have been handled a bit better. My cheesestick picture is a partial order...forgot to get a picture before we started eating. We'll be back.

We tried a burger, wings, and their version if cheese sticks which is essentially an egg roll (wonton) coating with mozzarella cheese inside. I was not the biggest fan of the mozzarella wonton sticks; however, the burger and wings were excellent. Wings very large, meaty and were enough for a meal in itself. The sauces while not very spicy were very flavorful. The burger tasted like they had a grill out back and it came straight off of it, very good! I would definitely give it a try!

Wow. I am SHOCKED. The service was extremely slow even though the restaurant was relatively empty. The food was alright, typical bar food. I got a bowl of chicken and dumpling soup to eat at home, and I was honestly very excited for it. I get home and open the packaging and there is a HAIR in my food. No one in my house has dark hair, and I had not opened the soup until I got home. I am disgusted and disappointed.
