Our family has been very impressed with the care at Village Crossings in Cape Elizabeth. My father lived at Village Crossings for the last year and a half of his life. He knew immediately he had found the right place and was welcomed warmly into the community by the staff and other residents. The nursing team is respectful, caring, and attentive. They listen to the needs of each resident and communicate clearly and in a timely manner with family. We visited often and enjoyed regular meals in the dining room and walks on the well-kept grounds. Dad loved the variety of options in the dining room and reading the paper in the living room or the library each morning. We were always taken with the number of activities and outing planned for the residents. Not only are there regular trips into town or to take in the scenery on a drive, but also the staff welcomes organizations from Cape Elizabeth to visit--creating a lovely relationship with the community. Our Mom moved to an apartment at The Landing a little over a year ago, from her home of 64 years in Central Maine. Though she wanted to remain in her home, she’s found The Landing to be a comfortable new home. Both she and we continue to be impressed with the level of kindness , capability and genuine concern of every member of their Staff. The Landing has been the perfect home for our Mom for the past four years. It does not feel like many of the large institutional assisted living facilities we toured. It feels like a warm, loving home. I cannot say enough about the exceptional, caring staff. You enter and are greeted by the wonderful front desk staff, the Executive Director and Business Manager are always available to answer any questions I may have, and the Activities Director and staff are always thinking about different programs for the enjoyment of all residents.
