Tasty Box — Restaurant in Cape Elizabeth

I live in Cape and would love to love Tasty Box. I had the kung pao chicken, tofu and eggplant, and fried rice. The ingredients seemed good and fresh, but the chicken and rice were really lacking in flavor. The kung pao was listed as one of their spicier dishes but the sauce tasted like barely seasoned water, and there wasn’t even a little spiciness. The tofu was better but still pretty bland. It looked like the lo mein and orange chicken were the most popular based on the orders I watched them prepare...

Take away order of teriyaki chicken and fried rice. When I got home with it, there were a half dozen dry crunchy hard chicken (?) pieces that tasted burned and overcooked and a big heap of bone dry white rice. That would be the last time I would order to go without checking what was in the box before leaving. Super yummy! We had a smattering of everything and it was all really good, they have something for everyone, but the schnitzel was exceptional. We recently tried another new restaurant in Cape and were disappointed by the schnitzel, there. This one was top notch at 1/2 the price. Exciting!...
