I love all the farmers markets in Santa Cruz County, but this one is my favorite. I used to live in Aptos, and I studied at Cabrillo, so I have a soft spot for this one. So many great farmers. We come here every fall for a box of persimmons when they are in season. There are also wonderful vendors. I especially enjoy the Japanese artisans. Musubi - delicious! Also the Miso vendor has excellent varieties. See my photo of their salad dressing! Makes every salad yummy! Lastly, this year's music with the Poor Carters & Friends is just a delight. You can never go wrong shopping here, rain or shine!

A charming and enjoyable farmers market experience! The location is easy to find and perfect for a leisurely stroll. Every vendor I met was warm and welcoming, happily offering samples of their fresh, seasonal fruits. The flower selection is not only beautiful but also incredibly affordable — it’s hard to leave without a bouquet or two! If you’re short on cash, you can pick up some market bucks, which never expire. But with so many tempting goodies, you’ll probably use them all in one visit!

I love this farmer's market! It's worth going just to see the gorgeous colors of fresh produce and flowers. Beautiful fresh ripe fruit, not that awful tasteless stuff from regular stores. Crisp veggies that last forever in thr fridge cuz they are so fresh. Then there's the bakeries, fresh eggs, saurkraut, miso, flowers, honey, olive oil, olives , plants and more. Oh and you can get your knives sharpened there too! Wonderful people, always friendly. There's a place you can sit and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee and eat your pastry. A sweet way to...

What's not to like about one of the top-rated farmers markets in the U.S. ? ....especially when the first few socially distanced booths are 4 of my 5 favorites. The oyster/clam/taco booth, the delicious salsa and sauerkraut and other yummies booth just past them, the Rogue Pyes booth, and the Asian booth run by one of the 2 owners (and her now-adult daughter, who was just a toddler back then) of the lovely Asian restaurant which was long ago in the little strip mall nearer the entrance to the Forest of Nisene...
