Fareway Meat and Grocery — Local services in Carlisle

Great little grocery store, honestly this place I would say is known for its Fresh meats , fruits and vegetables, today I picked up 2 bacon wrapped 8oz filet mignons for $28 which in my opinion as a steal as they came out Perfectly ! Tasted amazing and was probably the best cut of meat I've had in years ! I also managed to find some mission figs here which were phenomenal , I would contest they're a hundred times better than raisins ! Found some healthy snacks as well and picked up a very fresh fruit tray for $15. Let's not forget to mention their alcohol and spirits Section is VERY good ! You could probably find just about anything here for as small as this little place is, the staff are also VERY nice ! Really clean store and laid out very well. Nice spacing and lots of room. Fruit selection looks amazing as far as quality. The Granny Smith green apples (one of my favorite items) looked picture perfect, way better than any other grocery store I've bought them from in the past. They don't have a huge selection of items. Some of the snacks such as Fruit Roll Ups and Reese''s Granola Bars are way more expensive than Walmart. But here you also are paying for the convenience of local shopping...

Walked into refill 5-gallon water jugs. The cashier saw me put the empty jugs into the cart. I can't find the water refill station; all I see is full 5-gallon jugs for $9.00 each. Ask the clerk in the back where's the refill station is, oh we don't have one. I can refill these jugs at Hy-Vee for under $3. My son goes in to buy ribs that are on sale for $1.99 lb. The clerk doesn't tell my son they are sold out but instead sells him the $3.99 lb ribs. I had to drive back to Carlisle to...
