Twisted Hat Cannabis — Local services in Carneys Point Township

I really don’t like this place. Besides the obvious location/parking issues, I’ve had some other real problems here.

THC percentages on the menu, both in-store and online, are false. They’ve been as much as 5% below advertised in the past. I’m finally writing this review because I just purchased two pre-rolls which are both 3-4% below advertised THC. That’s blatant false advertising, and it’s not the first time.

The same two pre-rolls were on the menu under “hybrids” but after I got home they both turned out to be sativa, which is a big problem for me.

The menu here is huge. Lots of variety. Normally that would be a good thing but it makes the in-store menu almost completely unreadable. Too much going on and too small font.

As explained above, it’s also apparently such a large menu that they can’t keep the information on it accurate, so even if you’re able to read it you have no guarantee that what you ordered will be what you receive.

My online orders have been cancelled twice, and another time my order was missing an item. Kinda defeats the purpose of placing an online order, don’t you think?

Prices are pretty high compared to the other dispensaries in South Jersey.

I’ve got a couple other gripes with this place but this review is getting real long so I’ll end it there.

The staff is super pleasant, so that’s good.

For the time being I will be taking my business elsewhere. Having a local dispensary in Salem county should have been a great convenience, but I will happily drive to Nova Farms or Cannabist or any of the other quality dispensaries to the North in order to avoid these issues.

I’m not leaving this review to bash this business, I simply hope that the owners/management will take these complaints into consideration. I would love to support this local business again in the future, but I refuse to give them any more of my money while these...

I drove by this place quite a bit when they were under construction and I can honestly see where all the months of hard work went to. The store is very clean and very inviting. The staff are some of the nicest people I’ve met in the area.

My only criticism is I wish there was another entrance to the parking lot because the entrance/exit is pretty awkward and if there’s two cars at the red light then you’re pretty much relying on traffic to let you out or in.

I saw a negative review on here about the prices, but unfortunately in NJ the average prices are higher than other states. I’m sure once this place gets more adjusted they will run some type of in store deals. Hopefully as more dispensaries open like Twisted Hat Cannabis we can see a decrease on prices as a whole. Recreation is still newer to this state. Be patient, get educated and shop smart!

I was able to get something I wanted to try and so did my partner and we didn’t feel it was too pricey, but there definitely are some things on the menu over the 100 dollar range.

I have gone to twisted since they opened on and off. I typically choose to buy from the street over them because I don’t want to spend absurd amounts of money on street quality weed. If you want cheaply grown, MSO cannabis for curated menu pricing, go to twisted hat… If you want the same quality for 1/4 of the price hit your homie up from around the block. From the disastrous parking, to the menu that is unreadable, to the unknowledgable staff who somehow never get my order right, to the owners and staff who blatantly talk badly about people in front of customers….I’ll take my $100+ order somewhere else where I actually get more than 2 nugs of weeds for It. I praise the good lord that new dispensaries are opening on the area bc lord knows my pockets can’t afford any more low quality...
