I normally don’t write reviews however today during my work lunch break I decided to look for the closest subway when I found one I was excited to finally have something different for lunch since it’s a small town and not much is around. I walk in and stand at the counter for 3-4 min until waiting to be helped I was super patient being the woman was waiting for another customer to come back with change while waiting a man was vacuuming the rug I was standing on which again is no big deal normally however the area to order food is really small so they only place to stand is on the rug I tried as hard as I could to stand on the tile floor that I was leaning against the glass I apologized to the guy for being in his way and nothing he just turned the vacuum back on and ignored where I was even standing making me feel like I’m inconveniencing him. The woman behind the counter finally asked me “you know what you want yet?” I work in retail and I’ve worked in food industry for 6+years so I understand work isn’t exciting or fun however when working in customer service you should be friendly especially to your extremely patient and kind customers. Moving forward I told the woman what I wanted she proceeded to tell me she didn’t have enough ingredients for what I was asking for , again being understanding I simply changed my order with zero problems. Asks what kind of bread and slaps down the bread doesn’t speak smile nothing. Finally she asks if I want my sandwich toasted I said yes not realizing it was a big deal however she showed with her expressions that I was asking too much to throw my sandwich in the toaster. After it was toasted she finished it up and unappealingly said “alright that it ?” And tossed the sandwich in the bag and onto the counter. At this point everything seemed like she was annoyed and wanted me to just leave. Mind you I’m on break from work (retail) talking to customers all day I was thirsty but because her attitude was so poor I was discouraged to ask for a drink too because I figured it would aggravate her more. So I kindly told her that was all I needed I paid and took my sandwich and thanked her she never said a word back to me just ignored me like I wasn’t even there , not to mention I was the only customer so she wasn’t at all busy which if she was busy I would have been more understanding however after the entire 15 min at my first time discovering this subway was absolutely awful I will not be back and I know the employees (don’t care if I’m back or not) but subway should spend more time training their employees how to properly treat the public that are spending money at their establishment. She always gives me an attitude when I order especially if I have a coupon she tries to tell me I can’t get a certain sandwich when coupon doesn’t even have that sandwich excluded I’ve always been nice and saying thank you and etc but she still gives me an attitude I’ve also seen her give attitude to other customers and heard them say they will never order from there again all cause of her I rather go to a subway 30mins away instead of going 5mins to this one will highly recommend as long as she works there to never go...
