I would not recommend buying from this business at all! The worker who delivered and installed my stove talked down to me while he was at my house and when I requested of him that I would like him to talk to me in a respectful way he told me that he doesn't have to talk to me in a respectful way. Apparently since I am not paying for the unit he delivered he thinks I am not worth talking to in a respectful way. I then asked my landlady to join the conversation and she did. My landlady was shocked by the way the worker behaved toward me and asked the employee why he had talked to me like that. The employee then claimed that I was lying and he had never said that he doesn't have to be respectful to me. The worker also claimed earlier that he was the owner of the business, which after I called the company I found out is a corporation and I highly doubt that the worker who installed the stove in my house is also the owner of The Factory Inc. What I experienced in the short time I spend with that worker, who's name was Daniel, is that he was willing to lie without hesitation. The next morning I called the employee's supervisor (Laurie) in Carpinteria and wanted to give feedback about my experience with the worker and she told me that she doesn't want my feedback or listen to me since I am not the person paying for the unit (my landlady is) and then she hung up the phone on me. Apparently the employees that I talked to at Appliance Factory Inc. believe that they are only required in their work life to respect the people who order the stove not the people who they serve. I am very much concerned that the quality of the customer experience me and my landlady received is unacceptable in order to run a thriving and successful business and I encourage the corporate management of Factory Appliance Inc. to investigate and improve the customer service that is provided. Until that happens I would discourage anyone to buy from this company since I wouldn't want anyone to have to go through a customer service experience that my landlady and I had to go through. My landlady will not use Appliance Factory Inc. again. And I will encourage noone else to use...
Read moreWe purchased a Thor Refrigerator from Home Depot and needed someone to come align the 2 doors. So, THOR advised me that we are covered under warranty, and that this place will come fix it. A tech arrived and put in the C Clips and aligned the doors. Everything went great! About 3-4 weeks later when I opened the fridge door, something popped out and fell of the floor. It was one of the C clips. Since they were already paid by THOR to do the job, and since it was only few weeks later, I called them and asked that they send someone to fix it. They scheduled a person to come out a week later, and on the Day of the appointment, when it was already a hour or two into the time they were supposed to come, an older woman called from the place and said that I need to call THOR. I told her that since they are the ones who "fixed" it few weeks before, they should come and fix it, and that THOR should not be paying them again for their mistake. She refused to send someone or correct their mistake.
I then called THOR and they told me that they cannot pay for it again and that this place should redo the job correctly, as it's only been 3-4 weeks since they "fixed" it. So now we have a door that's missing a clip and they have NOT corrected their work. DO NOT HIRE THIS PLACE!! They are scammers! Read moreI have a 3 year old Kitchenaid (owned by Whirlpool) fridge that has been broken for 1+ year. Someone from Factory Appliance had to come out 4 times to assess, order parts, fix, re-assess, order parts, and fix (over about a 5 month period). During the last visit, the technician incorrectly installed a new compressor which burnt the internal plastic liner (new compressor didn't fix the fridge). At this point, I had to open another ticket with Whirlpool and they sent out another company. That technician told me the installation was done wrong and it would cost more to salvage this fridge than to buy a new one.
