Juice Ranch Cafe — Restaurant in Carpinteria

My daughter and I do not live in the area. On our way to Ventura, we went out of the way to come here, based on the values expressed by the company. The employee we spoke with was extremely nice, but the menu was extremely limited (most menu items not available). We ordered The Breakfast Club smoothie and (forgive me, but I forget the name) a mint chip smoothie. Neither of us liked our smoothies AT ALL. I would not have ordered this if the menu was not limited, so I don't know if things would have been different if we had been able to order what we really wanted. The prices were very high, but if I had enjoyed the smoothie, I wouldn't have been upset because it was our meal replacement. Based upon this experience, we won't be back. However, I gave 3 stars because of the nice employee and the values expressed by the company in previous posts, such as using organic, locally-sourced produce and their methods of cleaning the produce and rinsing with alkaline water, as I do at home.
