I recently took my truck to a shop in Independence because they could get it in that day to have an idler arm and a pitman arm replaced and an alignment .The truck drove great steered well but it had a vibration and it was because the pitman arm and idler arm. After having the pitman arm and idler arm replaced the truck drove terribly had tremendous amounts of road wander from centerline to shoulder loose steering steering wheel wasn't straight. I took it back to the same shop that installed the the steering parts. I had it back there three times and every time they said the alignment was off and every time it drove worse. After about 3 weeks I took the truck to Midwest customs and they found that the idler arm was about to fall off.. the nut was ridiculously loose they tightened it up the alignment was off they realigned it and now it drives better than it did when it was new it's got 269,000 miles on it.
