River Bottoms Brewing Company — Restaurant in Carrollton

River Bottom Brewing Company is a very nice place to get drinks and food any time. I was a part of a big crew of friends that went in to get drinks and food and celebrate the good times. There was about 15 of us in the group. We were seated at the long tables near the entrance which was nice because it accommodated our whole group. The waitress, I believe her name was Whitney was very good and attentive the entire time. I did feel she may have been overwhelmed at times with all of us ordering beer and food at all different times and with different tabs, but she was wonderful and very helpful and never seemed upset or annoyed or mad. We did feel bad for making her run around a lot. She got us the beer anytime we needed it without waiting much if at all. We also ordered 2 pizzas. The pb& jalepeno jelly and the reuben. The pb and jalapeno jelly was surprisingly very very good, that was my favorite of the 2 pizzas. It tasted very good and was not too spicy which I was worried about. Visited the small town of Carrolton, specifically to dine at River Bottoms Brewing Company.

We started off with chips n salsa. I know...strange appetizer for a brewery, but they were delicious.

Next, we ate their large pretzel with the German stone-ground mustard. I highly recommend this dish.

Then, we moved on to their meatballs. We tried the red and white sauces; both homemade. We should have stopped there, but we needed to try their pizza.

We ordered the Aloha 14" pizza. Very good blend of ingredients and the honey garlic sauce raises it a level.

Bill was our server and we found out he used to live in our area of Missouri in his younger days.

I read about this brewery in August 2020; so glad they survived that year and are still around!

Beer, food and staff are awesome. We're traveling through the area and had to check this out after reading the reviews. We sat at the bar for easier access to some beer tasting. All the beers we tasted were excellent, the red being my favorite.

The staff were all super-friendly, especially Whitney. We weren't planning on eating anything, but were curious when we saw the pizza special: peach, bacon and honey (from Whitney's hives). What?! We were skeptical. A couple of the local customers insisted that we try a slice of theirs. SOLD! We could not believe how well those flavors went together. Had to get one.
