Main Street Restaurant — Restaurant in Carrollton

I have been going to Main Street Restaurant since I was a child. My grandma worked there til she was in her 80's and used her amazing delicious recipes. My grandma, Betty Boothe also used her recipes making homemade pies. Main Street Restaurant to this day still makes my grandma's home-made pies! The crust will vary compared to my grandma's but they are the best pies! And the variety of different pies is awesome including the fruit pies.They have meringue topping on their cream pies! It's rare to find homemade pies with meringue these days. They have a variety I love their fried chicken and hot beef with bread and mash potatoes and gravy of your choice. I live in the city and have never found pies that don't taste good. I go every time I go to Carrollton visiting my love ones. So if you ever go to Carrollton. We went around noon, and they were packed. Our server was kinda slow. After she took our order, it came out really quick. They had the best sweet corn I had had in a long time. The food was very well presented. I had the Chicken, and my best friend had the tenderloin. They come with 3 sides and a dinner roll. Everything looked great and tasted great as well. They have the best pie, but if you want a piece be sure to order it right away, it goes fast. You may not get what you want if you wait until you finish eating! The Swedish meatballs were amazing. I brought my elderly parents here for lunch. Afterwards, they kept mentioning that the waitress was so nice and friendly. I purchased a piece of strawberry rhubarb pie to take home for my parents. They loved it! My Mom thought it was the best strawberry rhubarb pie that she has ever had.
