Mask mandates have been lifted by CDC for fully vaccinated people. The county and state has no mandates. They still required myself and my minor child to wear a mask. 2 of the 4 office ladies had their masks down and below their chins when I walked in- they pulled them up when I approached the counter. The doctor would only see my minor child without a mask without allowing me back- which is an ethics issue for me- no doctor will exam my minor child without a parent in the exam room. If the office lady that came out to talk to me about the doctors refusal to see me was really concerned about covid, she wouldn’t have been talking within 18” of me without a glass. No 6’ distance? So what is it? The virtue signaling needs to cease. Obviously they don’t need my business, nor are they concerned about the CDC guidelines, nor individuals with exemptions. My child- with her own exemptions- was inevitably refused service by this healthcare provider. Which again- if we only allow people with seen disabilities exemptions to masks- what are we saying to individuals with unseen...

I guess my last review was on Dr. Sloan's, this is a follow up. I went in today to get my glasses adjusted, and Leslie immediately tended to them. I felt that she genuinely wanted to make sure that my glasses were perfect for me. It was busy, and under pressure she still made me a happy customer once again by getting me out the door within a very reasonable amount of time, and making the whole experience pleasant and welcoming.
