Dropped off two new, never been used Kohler porcelain bathroom sinks in original boxes with installation guides & hardware. The “salesperson “ was “put-out” that they were dusty! I had explained they had been stored in an outdoor shed! Ungrateful is how I see it. I thought I was doing a good deed by donating to someone in need!

I have been clearing out an elderly neighbors house and shed (as a goodwill gesture), and came upon the sinks - yes, they were dusty from being stored in a shed - I did not know they were not matching. I drove 12 miles from Pinehills, Plymouth to donate two perfectly good sinks for someone in need. Are you not capable of cleaning the sinks before installation into a home? I'm sorry if you are under-staffed. Try a bit more kindness and gratitude; you'll be a happier person. I have worked for HFH in the past as a volunteer, and have only had positive experiences with HFH employees. This experience with the Carver store is disappointment....

Great service,clean store,friendly staff. Great place to pick up quality used furniture, appliances, lights,hardware etc. I found 2 perfect dining chairs for $50. I also returned to buy an unusual handmade bureau made of solid wood ($110). I'll be back to find other affordable furniture for my new home. If you want to donate items you can go on their website and you have to take pictures first, then they let you know if they can accept them, when you can drop off/arrange for them to pick it up. These are items that would normally make it into a dump. Prices throughout store are very reasonable. The Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Carver is a hidden gem, but they don't need to stay HIDDEN! The staff is incredible, kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about their mission. You can feel how much they care the moment you walk in. The showroom (and now the newly expanded space!) is filled with beautiful, high-quality pieces that fit perfectly in any home.
