As part of our 25th wedding anniversary weekend in nearby McCall, we visited The Roxy and watched the 2025 live action "Snow White." After driving by The Roxy more times than I can remember on our way to Pullman/Moscow from Boise, we were so excited to finally experience this unique piece of movie history!
As former cinema managers, my wife and I have a keen eye for details, and we were not disappointed! The theater has been well-maintained, preserving it's historic movie house vibes, awesome external neon lighting, while also integrating the latest in digital projection and audio. The auditorium is way bigger on the inside than you might think, the seats are high back and comfy, and the picture and sound quality is great. If you're comparing it to the latest and greatest theaters popping up in metro areas, sure, it's not at that level, but c'mon. Be reasonable. You're in a small mountain town. And in that context, this is an incredible Cascade (make that Valley County) gem. Just know: they take cards for tickets, but cash only for concessions. And please be sure to buy concessions cuz that's how these...
