I found the Bridal Collection because it was recommended by my venue (Spruce Mountain Ranch). When we arrived, everyone was so friendly that we interacted with. Robyn was the person who was helping me out. I talked about what I liked and didnât like in each dress and Robyn was able to go back to the racks to find more dresses based on my opinion. She really valued my opinion which I appreciated. Robyn said she might have something just perfect in the back. It turns out they have single dresses available that just so happened to be on a mannequins, leftover from trunk shows, extra inventory, etc. She said these dresses are unique because itâs not something they order, itâs something that they have in stock. I tried it on, it fit like a glove and just so happened to be my size. It was everything I was looking for and it was absolutely stunning. It was a Stella York dress. The only thing I didnât like was that it was strapless and I wanted a dress with straps. She helped me realize that whatever alterations I wanted to do with the dress, they can do like adding on straps. I walked around the store in the dress and they walked me to the front of the store to look in the mirror with the natural light. Every employee and even other customers I passed told me how stunning the dress was on me. Because the dress was sitting in inventory, it was at a bit of a discount, making it in budget for me! Robyn was so patient and kind while interacting with me and my family and encouraged me to make the right decision. She was definitely invested in me as a person. I was able to say yes to the dress that day and it was so exciting! A few months later I was able to schedule a gown viewing, since the dress stays at the shop until a week before the wedding. You are also able to schedule as many gown viewings as you need, since you pay for the dress fully a few months out. I brought with me some earrings and we tried out some straps, and I was able to show the dress to some others who hadnât seen it yet. Cathy helped me with this appointment and she gave lots of great advice about accessories, straps, and bustling. She was so kind and really made me feel welcome and confident. If you choose to do alterations through them, they have an alterations package that is all inclusive that I took advantage of. I had Serafina as my seamstress and Brooklyn as my stylist. Brooklyn was so friendly and really supportive of what my vision was for the dress. I was able to bring my accessories to see how it all looked. They took my measurements and took note of what I wanted. Brooklyn assured me that Serafina is a miracle worker and will work hard on my dress, which made me feel like I was in good hands. On the final pick up day I tried on the dress with Serafina and Kelly. The dress fit amazing and really made me feel confident and excited about my big day. They even pressed my dress so it all layed flat with no wrinkles. Kelly taught me how to package up, transport, and store my dress until the wedding. Every call, every interaction, and every visit that I had to the Bridal Collection exceeded my expectations and I am thoroughly satisfied with my entire experience from start to finish there. I am so happy I chose them and I am so happy with how my dress turned out, it was the highlight of the evening for sure. Every visit they answered all of my questions with kindness and patience. You can tell that every single employee actually loves their job and even employees that arenât your âstylistâ are invested in you and noticed how I was beaming in my dress. It was a very positive experience and always very welcoming. They were always prepared every time I came in with my space already set up properly, with my dress waiting for me. I would absolutely recommend the Bridal Collection to any bride that likes to feel valued and likes to be treated like a true princess every time you walk in. As an extremely picky bride, I was able to find my dream dress here and I canât thank everyone at the shop enough for their help...
Read moreI was very excited to have an appointment here, but to say I left disappointed is an understatement. If this shop would have been my first stop dress shopping, I think it wouldâve soured the whole process for me for a while.
When I arrived for my appointment, I was paired with Cathy. She is an older lady, but I kept an open mind, sometimes age brings experience. She immediately whisked me off to the sales floor and let me loose, telling me to just turn over dresses I thought I would like (she never even asked about the budget) and she would be back. She was checking on a dress I was very interested in trying on- the Disney Collection Pocahontas dress. She came back and informed me the style I wanted was discontinued and when I said I was specifically there to try that dress on she said they had a newer version of the dress but it didnât have sleeves like the discontinued one. I let her know I wanted to try that one on anyways as I knew it was similar to the older version and that sleeves can always be added in alterations. It also had everything I thought I wanted in a dress.
In the dressing room she asked me maybe one or two questions about myself and that was it. I let her know this was only my second dress shopping appointment. She talked a lot about herself or seemed keen on listening into the conversation my guests were having in the viewing area and randomly commenting on their conversations to me.
When I was showing dresses, she was very pushy about add ons. At one point, one of my sisters mentioned that she didnât like one of the dresses and Cathy pointed at her and told her to go with her to the floor to pick a dress because she didnât seem happy with anything that was pulled. My sister declined and said it was not her appointment. Cathy then was ranting to me in the dressing room about not being able please her-which I thought was odd because I am the bride and she should be focused on what I like.
She pulled a couple of dresses that were flat out not my style (and were very dated looking TBH) and I declined to try them on. When the appointment was over she was trying to pressure me into setting up another appointment and to put at least one dress as a âfavoriteâ.
After leaving, I found out she is a mother of the bride specialist. I also was informed by someone in my party that she made the comment to them of âwhat is her obsession with Pocahontasâ which I find offensive. Just because you have a vision of what you want or a dress you thought you would really like, that is not an âobsessionâ. I would have ended the appointment right then and there if they would have told me right away about her comment.
Overall, I would not recommend this shop. They are clearly here for a quick sale and donât care to take the time to fully understand or respect your vision for your important day. I ended up purchasing my...
Read moreThe team at The Bridal Collection is incredibly kind and always worked on hyping me up when I was in the building. Iâm giving two stars solely because of their friendly staff â but unfortunately, their pricing, policies, and pressured environment were a major letdown.
My biggest issue was with the alterations process. I was required to purchase a $1,000 alterations package for a dress that barely needed any changes. It was a simple, one-piece gown, and in hindsight, I wish I had either asked more detailed questions or looked elsewhere. But with all the glowing reviews and limited time before my wedding, I felt stuck. I did ask if I could pay a la carte for needed alterations and was told that would end up being more expensive.
A few weeks later at my final fitting, I was told I had lost two inches all over and would need additional alterations â which werenât included in the $1,000 package (ya ya it said that in the original contract but I feel so confident that the original alterations were done poorly and this was their fault). When I got home, I weighed myself and had only lost one pound since my first fitting. I let it go, but it felt frustrating and confusing.
When I tried to call my mom during the appointment, I asked for a bit of space. The seamstress and associate left the room briefly â for maybe a minute â before coming back in to ask questions while I was still on FaceTime, trying not to cry. It felt rushed and inconsiderate. I was soooo overwhelmed.
The final fitting, just a week before my wedding, was stressful. I was terrified Iâd be charged for more last-minute alterations. The breast pad was completely lumpy (despite paying an extra $100 for steaming and pressing), which they took a few minutes to fix, and some of the seams didnât line up cleanly. I honestly expected perfection at that price. Instead, I didnât even have the energy to complain â I just wanted to take my dress and leave.
To top it all off, they handed me a tiny bag with all the material theyâd cut from my dress â so small it fit in one hand. It made me question what exactly I was paying for.
This might still be a good place to find your dress. The consultants are upbeat and friendly but clearly work on commission. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend doing your alterations elsewhere. This was the most stressful part of my entire wedding and one of my...
