I had never heard of this place before scrolling some breweries on the ol’ Maps app and we gave it a try.
The beer list isn’t small, but I struggled to find much I would order. 3 of the 5 IPAs were Hazy, which seems to be all anybody brews these days. The single Porter had coconut, that’s not my jam. Seemed like lots of what I would think of as “specialty” beers— raspberry jalapeño, pumpkin/yam, lots of sours, etc. Not a lot of beer-flavored beer.
That being said, both the Temple of Sol, Kölsch, and the Gateway were all good.
The food was very good. The sliders were excellent and my partner had the jalapeño burger, both excellent. The burger patties are clearly not frozen patties and was cooked perfectly.
Front AND back patio— big garage doors for the patio were great. The atmosphere is very much “brewery.” String lights and wood everywhere. Looks like it would be nice on a warm summer night.
Service was excellent from the guy with the...
Read moreTucked away in the heart of Colorado’s rugged beauty is Wild Sky Brewery, a place where craft beer dreams soar higher than the Rockies. Walking in feels like stepping into a mountaineer’s daydream—rustic wood vibes, twinkling lights, and that glorious hop-scented air.
I had the Tropical Wheat. Imagine you’re lying on a beach, but you’re surrounded by the Rockies. Brewed with passionfruit, this wheat beer is like a golden ticket to flavor paradise. It’s light, refreshing, and just the right amount of fruity, the kind of beer that makes you want to kick back, toss on some shades, and pretend you’re on island time.
Wild Sky Brewery isn’t just a place to drink…it’s a place to be. Come for the beer, stay for the atmosphere, and leave with a heart as full as your...
Read moreThe Okay-est, overpriced "brewpub" South of Denver. You'll have.... a time. You will impress your suburban coworkers. Anyone who says this restaurant is deserving of more than 3 stars drives a Honda Odyssey or equivalent.
The staff were nice, and were willing to give suggestions, but the service was by far on the slower side. No fault of the server - she simply has WAY too many tables by herself on a Saturday night. Other than bussers and people bringing out food, she was the only one I saw taking orders at tables when the restaurant was 70% full.
Between the high pricing, the mediocre-at-best food, and slow service, I can't recommend this restaurant or seemingly the majority of Colorado...
