As a father who has had 3 children play sports for crown point, I must say the tax dollars show where crown point has many nice things , but the staff and organizations only care about looking the part , my son was injured with a concussion and was told he was fine by coach and staff, doctor said otherwise, after being out 3 weeks, my son was injured again during the super bowl game , he was told that he was fine and to sit down by the coach , the medical assistance, who was a young lady , with no equipment or place to give a proper exam, my son was shaking and could not walk , and saying his legs felt numb, my son was told he had a stinger, and sat on the bench crying in pain , in the cold rain , for 2 quarters, untill I intervened and said lets go to hospital, after driving to the hospital, they said he had a broken arm , than 2 days later the doctor said it was a contusion in his shoulder, we are monitoring his arm , bottom line is there should be a ambulance and real paramedics at games on stand by, and rain poncho provided for bad weather games , this is your tax money! They got astro turf, nice big concession buildings, john deer tractors driving around , these are our kids playing for crown point, is a real paramedic and ponchs to much to ask for , I don't want to see any other child hurt and told there fine , because the next child could be yours , paralyzed on the field , in the cold rain , waiting for an...
Read moreAfter paying a ridiculous $50 entry fee, the fields looked nice. The bathrooms were the most disgusting we have ever been to. There were puddles of sewage in every stall. The women's bathrooms were left that way overnight. Trash overflowing, not even attempted to clean that up from the day before. Multiple parents made the staff aware of the mess and nothing was done about it. Avoid this place if you can, otherwise plan on washing sewage off the bottom of your shoes. Oh and you need cash only to enter, and concessions was credit only. It can't get much less...

For larger tournaments- the tourney fee is pricey, you are charged to park & then charged to get in....and in return you get no scoreboards & no second base umpire for important Championship games to make the vital calls that could make or break your game.
Even though I feel it is a very nice facility that surely needs $$ to maintain & up keep- i honestly feel the teams don't get enuf bang for their buck as guests who are spending quite a bit of money to visit...
