I don’t write many reviews but the service here was stellar. I’m a natural procrastinator lol and wanted until the last min to get some engraving done... they took my order and promised to have it done the next day. I don’t check my email often and they sent a prof.. Mark new it had to be approved to meet the deadline, he called and texted, no answer on my end... then he drove over to my shop and tried to get the proof in person... the door was locked as I was finishing things for our trip to Florida... So he prosisted to knock like the police, still no answer lol... I was hiding in my office, because I thought he was the police hahaha... That lead me to check my phone and see that I missed any calls or text, and Just in the nick of time I was able to call him and approve the design... Sorry for being such a pain, but you gave me an experience that you normally don’t see this day and age... True service... I also want to say, the young lady who works the counter is a killer design artist, and a very good person... Thanks for helping this procrastinator get everything ready for our expo in Florida!!! Read moreOn a Monday, I dropped off a small chest. I explained that it was for a military retirement on Saturday. We had a good conversation and planned the engraving, which he (Jeff the owner) quoted as being done on Wednesday. The week went by and I received no communication from Jeff. Saturday, the morning of the ceremony I called him. He had an excuse for the piece being unfinished and said he could have it done by 1130. I said I can be there at 12 due to previous commitments. I arrived at 1204, the doors locked, lights out, and no answer to my phone call or text. The following week I expected a return call or text. But no. 4 days went by and it took me traveling to the store. To his credit, he did offer the item at no charge.
This is the 2nd time we used this service. Once before he missed his 2-week deadline and we barely got some medals on time. I always try to give people a second chance, but this is on him. Late service/ bad customer relations beat good service.
This is not a place you want to rely on for something you absolutely need to be done...
Read moreI called Mr. Shrader to verify my order and engraving on my order that was recommended by the Pines. There was a slight change in the engraving. I had just talked to Mr. Shrader on the phone on the change of engraving. And we agreed on a follow-up conversation. I called Mr. Shrader back a few minutes later to finalize the change. A co-worker answered the phone. She stated she could make the change. I stated I had just got off the phone with Mr. Shrader and wanted to talk to him. She did not like that. What she did not know is I had in the past had a problem with engraving by another company years ago, and the problem became beyond repair. So, I wanted to make sure the engraving was done properly by keeping the communication between the same person. When I went to pick up my dog's ashes later in the day, the same lady I spoke with on the phone serviced me. SHE MADE IT A POINT TO BE KURT AND RUDE! I don't understand the...
