Soft Rock Café — Restaurant in Centerville

I'm only giving a 2 star because either your karaoke guy is racist against blacks or racist against people who are not regulars I came in with a group of work friends and got into the karaoke rotation sung 1 song then I noticed that he started rotation over but new people were coming in as well putting in their songs but since he had restarted rotation I should have been able to sing at least one more song but I started noticing that the new karaoke people were going so I went and asked him where was I at in the rotation and he told me about 7 or eight people are ahead of me so I was like ok I waited until about 9 people went then all of a sudden he was playing line dance music I waited for that then he called about 4 more people after that so I go back to him and asked when was it going to be my turn he told me for the second time about 8 people and that was when I realized that he was not going to be calling my name again to sing by that time I had been waiting 2 hours to sing another song I just went on ahead and left. There is no way that I should of had to wait that long especially since he had started rotation again and I should had been 7th on the list the new people should had been going after me but instead he chose to do me dirty. Maybe he thought I was drunk but I wasn't I had a beer a shot and the rest of the night I was drinking water so I wasn't even tipsy. This is why I say that he is either racist against black because I literally was the only black person doing karaoke or he was racist against people who are not regulars there but it makes for bad business either way. 3 hours being there and I only sung once. I really hope yall read yall reviews because some actions should be taken with this review because though I was drinking water after my beer and shot I still was buying drinks for my friends so it's not like I wasn't spending money and I was tipping the bar tender. First off when it comes to having a good karaoke experience, let me just say Soft Rock Cafe never disappoints. With people doing a wide variety of song choices it makes for a good experience when you get that nostalgic feeling from here a song from the 90's. Anyways the karaoke alone is a reason you should stop in and hang out. I personally has never had a bad experience here and with a great atmosphere and good vibes from the crowd. Well Soft Rock Cafe is always a good choice for a night out with friends... For real after reading this your search for a good place should be done. While everyone has been friendly during karaoke hours, this girl on a Monday was one of the worst servers and people I ever met. She screwed up my Irish car bomb, a very popular known drink. She then insulted and ridiculed me and any other customers she didn't know personally. All the while a dog who was a Rottweiler mix roamed the bar. I cannot imagine why anyone would hire her in the service industry. She took what I felt was Cheers and made it into Paddys pub from "always sunny in Philadelphia". It's too bad...
