I called up the tech shack and I asked them to build me a custom pc and for them to recommend the parts for my build. They built me an awesome enthusiast pc that won't have to be upgraded for several years. I love the pc and how the customer service was, but I did have some complaints and things that would be great changes. A complaint that I had was that when I got the pc, some of the parts were different and were not price matched. They forgot a lot of things and some were crucial like an ssd but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and they usually are really busy but they could have told us about the changes. That was the only complaint that I had but a thing that I would change are updates on the build. I understand that there arnt many updates to be told, but it took past deadline for the list of parts that I would be getting so maybe there can be an update on that if it is past deadline. Those are the things that I thought needed to be changed but overall the people know what they are talking about and know a lot about PCs, I recommend them for any issues with hardware or any custom builds

Never, EVER take your electronics to Tech Shack in Clemson! Total waste of time and money. These guys had my laptop for almost a MONTH (25 days!!!) just to make it worse than when I brought it in. I came in with just a partially broken display - left with the entire upper panel missing and they had the nerve to charge me $50 for ruining my laptop! What kind of "repair shop" breaks your stuff worse and then tells you to "find someone else" when you ask them to fix their own mess? Seriously?? These people have no clue what they're doing and zero customer service skills. Save yourself the headache and money - stay far away from this place. I wouldn't trust them to fix a calculator, let alone a laptop. There are plenty of other repair shops that won't destroy your electronics and actually stand behind their work. Absolute amateurs. 1 star only because I can't give zero.

In November of last year we contacted Tech Shack and wanted them to help us in ordering and installing a new sound system for our gym. In December of last year we paid $8190.16 which was the full amount of the invoice. We did not hear back from them until we reached out on January 23rd of this year and asked when they would have all of the equipment and planned on doing the installation. The owner wrote back stating "the mixer is still on back order. I spoke with my supplier yesterday and there is no update. This piece of equipment is specific to the package of equipment we have for the gym so substitutes are not a option." On January 27th we told them that we would not be moving forward with the installation due to them not being able to fulfill the order. At that time they told us that it would take 30-60 days to refund our money. We were under the impression that we would receive a 100% refund. On 4/17 I spoke to them as we had not received any money. At that time the owners wife told me that they would be mailing out payments to us throughout the month and that we would be paid off by the end of the month. She also told me that we would only receive $6552.13 back. On April 20th I emailed them that we were requesting 100% of the money we paid back. It was at no fault of our own that we had to request the refund. They were not able to provide a vital piece of the equipment needed for our new system. They also could not provide a reasonable estimate of time that the piece would be received. We also asked for them to respond back to us of their intentions moving forward. As of today we have...

I went to The Tech Shack to get my cracked computer screen replaced, and I dropped it off on a Friday afternoon, and one of the guys told me he would give me a call later on that day to give me a quote on how much the repairs would cost. No one ever called me back. The next Tuesday I called to get a quote, and they told me I needed to make a down payment so that my replacement computer screen could be ordered. I went to make my down payment, and when I got there I heard someone (I'm assuming the manager) loudly arguing with a customer on the phone (which I thought to be very unprofessional). A week after making my down payment, I called back to see was my computer fixed, and it was, but I did not like that, because I should not have to call you to check on everything (I felt like I should have been informed about everything every step of the way). When I went to pick up my computer, and brought it back home my Wifi would not connect, and after taking my computer to a professional, I later found out that my networking chip in my computer was broken, or disconnected. I called the manager back to see if I could get a portion of the money I paid back, because the job was not done 100% correctly. The manager insisted that I should not receive anything back, and not only did he not compensate me for his or one of his worker's mistake, he raised his voice and was very disrespectful while talking to me. This business is very unorganized, unprofessional, and the customer service is subpar, I would recommend you take your...
