I live in Tenino and RT Is the closest shop to me. I've been there at least 30 times and they're always super nice and helpful. But sadly if I really need something or I'm making any type of specialty brew I drive the extra distance to Lakewood.. the cost difference is pretty unbelievable. I save nearly $30 just for a 55 bag of flaked corn by going to the other guys up north. I think the barley difference is over $30 for a 55 pound bag.. Specialty grains are also ALOT cheaper going to the other places. I like supporting a closer shop but for the difference in prices I just can't go there everytime. Small, but we'll established brewing and vinting supply store. They have all the basics and many unique products as well. They have recipes for close to fifty beers, with all supplies in store. You can choose canned products or go whole grain for your own wort (which is usually about ten bucks or 20% cheaper). A typical recipe batch will cost $45-55 for grain. Located between a variety store and a barbershop, it's easy to find. Access and exit really depends upon your direction and traffic flow. No restroom facilities on site. I went in to get a beer brewing starter kit for a Christmas present, and left wanting to get one for myself as well! The pricing was great and the owner really knows his stuff! It was nice of him to take the time to really make sure I got everything I needed, answer the questions I had, and offer his advice on additional equipment I may need and the things I didn't. I was looking online for a starter kit, and I'm really glad I went in to the shop instead of buying online. I'll definitely be back for a brew...
