I've been going to HDS for 2 years and love it. The staff is great, professional, very clean, organized, CHEAP, great cuts all the time & they'll remember you after a couple visits and how you like your hair done. Well i speak from a male perspective. I introduced my wife to the place after bad experiences elsewhere and she loves it too. For trims, color and touchups, prices for the ladies are apparently very inexpensive compared to most places so I've heard. I've seen people from all races & different hair types, gender, age (little kids too) and the stylist know alot about them not just their hair. shows that the staff take an interest in their clients and tries to get to know them. In short, if you're new to the area and looking for a good place to get your hair did, try them out and if the wait list is too long esp on weekends, there's a cafe in the strip to wait it out. They have a sign in and everyone goes in order unless you have an appt, which i highly recommend on weekends or even on weekdays if you...
Read moreI've been going to this salon for about three years now, and I always felt funny about all the gossiping that went on between the ladies as soon as I step in but usually I just let it go. Either way, my son and I normally see the gentleman Michael, who is very professional unlike most of the ladies. But today was interesting to say the least. I walked-in around 2:45pm and the same gossiping (haters gonna hate), checked in, and sat to wait to be called. I noticed the gentleman was not there but I still needed a hair cut so it was ok to see someone else. However, after waiting 45 minutes they told me that I will have to come back tomorrow.. What? Yeah, they both had appointments coming 45 minutes later and they weren't able to see me until the next day. Mmm.. Interesting that I was the only person being told this and there were about 5 more people on the waiting list after me. Lack of customer service, tact and tons of rudeness is what can be found...
Read moreThe second day of 2017, three of us waited 90 minutes in the store, then were told that they do not do ombre hair. I am not trying to be mean, but i was very frustrated. First of all, if you do not provide a service that is included in your business category, please put it up somewhere that people can see, especially when you do not have a receptionist to ask basic questions. Second of all, when you ask people to sign in to wait in queue to talk to a stylist and get the hair done, you do not pick them by hand from the list. You go with first come first serve policy. The order I observed yesterday was 1,2,3,4, 9,10, 7,8. Third of all, when you do not offer the service, say that you do not offer the service. Do not say something like we cannot do it today, just push customers around. My friend recommended the place and it looked really nice, do not get me wrong. Just wish they have a better system that does not waste...
