I went to this location on 03/08(see photo) and ordered what I usually ordered. However, this particular time, the fries were soggy. I didn't check them until I got home which is about fifteen minutes from this location. I went back immediately arriving at 7:05 pm. I went up and express my concerns. The Hispanic rep with braces(I'm stating this because I asked for her name) stated that it's been over an hour. I pulled out my receipt(thirty minutes) and stated that it's not over an hour. She said "well it's close enough". She told me she had to check with her co-worker and not the manager. She told me we can do it for you this time. I asked for my wings to be reheated since I have not eaten them. She said we can't do it. I said okay no problem. She then begins to say we will do your order since it's been but your order should've been checked. I told her I didn't check her order until I get home. She then proceeds to tell me that "I'm always complaining." I told her what are you talking about..."I've never complained"...I told her that her customer service skills are horrible. She dismissed me...I told her I got time because now I feel as if I'm profiled as a black woman in majority community because all black people are not the same. I asked her name, she said she doesn't have to give it to me...Fine..She walks away..I asked the African American lady what is the manager's name she told Hal. I tried to call to this location to state what has happen and she hasn't been there...I have the transaction receipts to prove that I'm been going to this restaurants weekly for months as well as sent my colleagues to this restaurant. However, based on this situation, I'm never spending my money at this location again. To the manager, please get your employees training on implicit bias, diversity inclusive and customer service. This is uncalled for in this establishment. If you're looking for great wings and horrible customer service, please keep buying. However, there is Hop Singh next door. Read moreFirst let me say, I LOVE American Deli! However, this location will only be seeing me again for a refund. The customer service is the main reason, but the food was barely so so & definitely not up to par with the standards of other AD’s. I called at 8:30 pm to place an order for pick up. Someone picked up then hung up on me. Not being aware of their policy on cutoff time for call ins, I continued to call, but finally gave up because I would be there in time to place an order and wait. After, my long 13 hour shift, I really would’ve preferred to pick up and go, but I REALLY had been craving these wings and fish ALL day. So I walk in and say “Hey, I’ve been calling y’all”. Then I ask the ladies standing around (in Spanish) “Why didn’t y’all pick up the phone?” One of them grinned, as I’m sure they didn’t expect for me to speak Spanish. I proceeded to place my order because that is the priority of course lol, but circled back to this being hung up on business. The girl that addressed this situation was very rude and says, “well your food is getting made & that’s all that matters”. I waited a moment before proceeding because I had my eyes on the cooks anyway and I wasn’t really sure that I heard her right. So after they are done with my order and and she comes over to bag it up I ask her to repeat what she said and she does. She goes in to explain that she wasn’t being sarcastic, but that yea “your food is being made and that’s all that matters”. I told her that is not all that matters. Customer service matters too, and after working my long shift at the hospital….she cut me off and said we all work hard. There was more said, but I’m too tired to recall it all. Long story short, the food was not worth all the trouble I went through to get it, and I’ll be returning it for a refund tomorrow. Oh and what the reviews say on here about not getting drinks that come with the combos if you don’t remind them is ABSOLUTELY true. Read moreCalled my order in for pick up. The lady on the phone started out very (she doesn't want to be there) dry..but ended up being very friendly when I asked questions. I figured I'd run into the nearby Publix and pick up a few things before my order was ready. When I got there to pick up my order, I still had to wait..but not too too long. I noticed that people mentioned that they will not even mention your drink with your combo..lol..well, they were right. Definitely remember to tell them you had a drink..or you may not get it. After getting home with the food, I was pleasantly surprised to find beautiful, hot, fresh food. It looked good..and y'all it was good. I recommend the philly cheese steak/wing combo..you have to add fries for an extra price. I will be going back to this location. Don't expect it to look like much..its one of those get...
