Booked a bday party for our son here after attending several bdays and was very impressed on the hostess/hostesses planning and attention, but on our bday party the hostess lacked in all areas! Showed up 15mins before party time and was told the room was ready, went upstairs to find there was cheetos, food crumbs under tables, sofas, game area as well as cake crumbs and frosting smeared on bench seats, tables were poorly wiped down and side tables (next to sofa/sitting area) had dry rings from drinks. Bathroom was not cleaned, floor dirty as well and "drips" on toilet, mirror water spots etc. Lucky for me there was a broom and clorox wipes so I proceeded to sweep the room, wipe down tables and chairs. Hostess and I talked she explained to me food arrival times, got cake cutting time, etc I asked for more drinks at that time she took my "order" for drinks and left, I didn't see her until food came. Then she used an entire sitting table to place & serve pizzas (7 boxes) guest and kids were standing up eating until I mentioned that we should move so that people could sit, she seemed annoyed the entire time, I then asked (reminded) her for drinks and she apparently remembered then that I had asked for them about 40 mins prior, I told her I would continue to serve people so she could run down and grab drinks (we were completely out) she came back maybe 10 mins later, sat on floor, refilled refrigerator. Cake cutting time we agreed would be right after food, she didn't have cutlery for that so she ran out again to get knife. Cake cutting is not a hard thing to to, cake got massacred but got the job done. She then asked if I wanted the bill, which I said yes so she went and grabbed that and that must have been the speediest thing she accomplished in 2 hrs. Left then again and didn't see her until she came back with the KTR backpack goodies which she just dropped on the floor and left again all with a annoyed look on her face the entire time. I tipped her $20 reluctantly which I felt like I had to tip something but still that seemed excessive for the "service" she provided. I always tip 18-20% on all services but a $60+ tip in this case was not representative of the service we received. Gave it 2 starts only for the reason that we like this place normally but for events we will take our business elsewhere where we will get quality service & properly...
Read moreI had the absolute worst experience at KTR Chandler, and Iâm still shaken up about it. I went there looking forward to having a fun day, but what happened turned into a complete nightmare.
The place itself seemed okay at first. The atmosphere was energetic, with tons of people jumping on trampolines and having a good time. However, things quickly took a dark turn. I made the mistake of trying to jump near one of the poles on the trampoline courts, which turned out to be a huge safety hazard. The pole was placed way too close to the trampoline area, and there was no warning about how dangerous it was.
I was bouncing around, having fun, and then I went a little off course, as anyone might do in such a chaotic environment. As I approached that pole, I didn't realize how close I was to it. The next thing I knew, I collided with it, and the impact was like nothing Iâve ever felt before. I was completely thrown off balance and hit the pole in a way that made me feel like Iâd died on impact. It was painful, disorienting, and terrifying.
Iâm not exaggerating when I say I was in serious pain. I couldnât even stand up right away. I had to be helped off the trampoline area, and it felt like I was in a daze, unsure of what had just happened. No staff members were immediately on hand to help, which made the whole situation feel even worse. I couldnât believe how poorly the place was laid out. The trampolines are supposed to be fun and safe, but the proximity of those poles made it seem like they didnât prioritize safety at all.
Afterwards, I had to seek medical attention. The whole experience left me traumatized and angry. There was no apology, no offer of compensation, and no real concern from the staff. Iâm shocked that a place like this is still allowed to operate when they clearly have such serious safety hazards.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Itâs incredibly unsafe, and honestly, Iâm still recovering from the physical and emotional impact. Donât risk itâstay away from...
Read moreWhat a fun concept. Unfortunately the management doesnât seem to repair equipment when it breaks. We went a year ago, and there were several areas that were in need of repair. Went again today, and those same things were broken, along with several new issues. Sadly, there wasnât a single area of the indoor park without a significant missing or damaged feature. The frightening thing is that several of these issues seem to be just waiting for a serious injury to be endured. A short list:
The pit that once held foam blocks now is empty, and while itâs roped off, itâs right next to open trampolines, including the trampoline designed to launch you into the pit. Without the foam blocks, any accidental fall into the pit is guaranteed broken bones.
A frayed trampoline that is left open for use, though a 1/4 of it is ready to simply suck a leg through for a torn ACL.
A basketball hoop was torn from its backboard over a year ago (it was missing last year) - itâs still gone. Youâd think this place was an inner city public playground - not a private business that charges tons of money to play.
Practically every piece of foam installed on the climbing features has been ripped off and re-taped repeatedly, and at this point, it looks as though theyâve given up on re-taping them. Several sections are just hanging loose, leaving exposed plywood underneath, inviting injury.
One of two slack lines has just been ripped out - half as many people can use that area.
One of two swinging ring features has a missing ring, making that line effectively useless - the spare chain is simply wrapped around the remaining ring - depressing.
Fun concept, but play at...
