To be clear - the tour was great. Our tour guide told really good stories and let us know the history of the buildings we stopped at. However the parent company to Charleston Terrors is really hard to deal with. At the time we were having inclement weather and I called multiple times to see if the tour would be canceled or not. The woman on the phone didn't even know it was raining in Charleston. I realize their rule is rain or shine but it was a downpour and half our group ended up leaving but we stayed because we can't get a refund if we cancel. We took the entire tour soaked to the bone. It wasn't the guides fault obviously and they did a lovely job but some more communication would have been nice. Long story short if the forecast is good take the tour - if you have any doubts...
Read moreThis was a great tour, and our tour guide was amazing! We wish we could remember her name but she was the sweet soul in the heart glasses and cool tattoos! She was knowledgeable, personable, and kind. She made the tour interesting, and she told the stories with passion. The EMF readers were a great addition, and we actually did see and feel some things! Faces in the window, handprints in the glass and I could really feel the experience of the man at the jail with the chains. That building gave off so much energy, the hairs on my arms and the back of my neck stood up! This tour was exactly as advertised and we would recommend 10/10! Thank you for a...
Read moreRoger was our tour guide tonight and he did a WONDERFUL job! Heâs a great story teller and was able to add in some extra âfun factsâ to many stops. Iâd definitely recommend doing this if you want to walk off your dinner with a great history lesson. There were all ages/abilities in the tour so wouldnât think twice about sending anyone along. They didnât have our EMF readers, but I was already refunded by the time I got back to the hotel so no sweat there. BUT - I was just going to tell them to keep that as a tip for Roger. I didnât have cash for him and I do regret that. He...
