Kroger — Local services in Charleston

I recently had a very disappointing experience at the Kroger grocery store in my neighborhood. During my visit, I was shocked to find that there were no grocery carts available. This made it incredibly difficult to shop for my groceries, as carrying items by hand is not only inconvenient but also impractical for a full shopping trip.

In an attempt to address this issue, I called the local customer service number for the store to express my concerns, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone. This lack of responsiveness is quite concerning and raises questions about the store's management and customer service priorities.

I pass by this Kroger location daily on my way to another grocery store, and I can't help but worry that it may be at risk of going out of business soon. The combination of insufficient shopping resources and poor customer service is a troubling sign. I hope the management takes immediate action to improve the shopping experience...

Went to this Kroger when I first moved here. Saw two guys standing near the front doors and they 99% looked like they were scoping out people to rob. I went inside to grab something quick to eat as I had been driving for several hours. I did find some amazing deals on some frozen fruit and soup. I went to the deli to see if they had a sandwich or deli meat to make one. The precut cooler only had two bags of deli meat and the deli associate was busy with chicken and I didn't want to bother her. I went to the cooler to look at salads and sandwiches. As I was looking, two men walked just inches behind me as if they were going to pickpocket me. There was no reason to be this close. The two men were also talking about "ending someone's life" as if this were normal conversation. I felt quite unsafe and seeing a security guard made me realize my fears weren't unfounded. I'm sure this could be a nice Kroger if they banned...

March 2023 Safe shopping. $teve $add kept his distance this time... 2/10/22 Thanks to Michael( Security), Jon and Nick for helping me with an incident with another customer. They made me feel safe after I brought to their attention what happened in the Deli, at #4 UScan checkout and the parking lot with an aggressive condescending $LUMLORD bully named $teve $add, that's HARRASSING me. I love the Delaware Ave Kroger. I'm happy to see Jon, Nick and Amanda in management. They're very helpful. I love my Produce family.
